The TDS meter ate up the batteries and never worked thereafter. The pH meter failed in less than a year.

I like the EC meter on these devices. The PH meter works too so it was a benefit to get both but the tds meter is "cheap" and lasts for 6+ months if you're not aggressive with the usage. Pick up something to calibrate them and you are good to go.

Ok so start by saying absolutly love this combo kit, accuracy no problem ph meter always stayed true to callibration were my other higher brand ph meters drifted no names but lets just say theres really about 5 brand names in ph meter business in my opinion this ol gal put them all to shame, sadly one day went to use her and notta, batteries were goodish replacedthem notta, was contenplating purchasing nother identival when seen it had 1yr warranty well as we all know amazons really goood at taking our pay and hiding most any helpful links on there sight so i posted an overtop review to get sellers attention and it worked thankfully amazon needs a easier way to access warranty stuff instead of telling you not our prob get up with seller yourself, well some may know exactly how, i didnt but seller was awesome and is sending me a new ph meter for price plus 1yr warranty really hard to justify spending 100 or more for lesser product. this thing is king in my book and i have bout 7 other ph meters, also the ppm ec meter is as good as my others to can set it to 500 xcale or 700 scale none others have that.

I ran a basic Hanna and dual spec bluelabs in the past and the Hanna was ok but the bluelab constantly needed calibrated witch made me just give it away to someone. I then started using ph test liquid for awhile but that was starting to become a pain on every test and I seen these for a great price so I decided to give them a go and I'm so happy I did. The kit include 2 packages of each calibration powder witch is very nice I think. And after the initial calibration It's been accurate. I made up 3 containers with lids for the calibration liquids and I test the meter hear and there and it's been spot on . I keep the ph pen in a cup of water everyday after use to keep it from drying out witch seems to be working great. I would definitely recommend

These work very well. I use them twice a week when I make RO/DI water. They are very well made and seem to be accurate when I tested against my friends Hanna Testers. They both had the same results. These are a lot cheaper though. You cannot go wrong with this purchase.

They're inexpensive so not bad for price but they need to be calibrated often and my ph meter is not reading accurately after calibration anymore after using for a couple months.
