This replaced the old three position (Smoke, Medium, High) temperature control on my Draeger Tailgater pellet grill. It installed with no fuss and worked the first time I tried it. I really appreciate it controlling the temperature rather than having to stand by th grill and watch the temperature myself.

I feel like it doesnโt get to the right temperature (RTD)because I have a temperature probe and the set temperature is not with. It is on the probes. If that makes any sense. have to run the grill higher temperature and with the internal temperature of the grill self inside is

Everything seems to work fine, however the probe is not calibrated! Temp prob is off temperature by 50 degrees. Makes it almost useless! I just use it now for a on and off switch.

Had a broken adjustment knob on the old unit, and this was plug and play, and included meat probes.

This fit perfectly on my 12 year old Traeger at 1/3 the price of the Traeger unit. Installation was very easy and is better than the original.

While "Yes" it is plug and play. You NEED to follow the wires do NOT go by the color. If you do based on color it will not work and will have a temp run away on you. The biggest downfall is the lack of directions and just the Amazon pictures. I have used this unit although on 2 different grills both Masterbuilt to bring them into a much better control than the factory controller, plus gain the meat probes. If it actually had a user manual I would give it 5 stars.

My boyfriend picked up a used Traeger. It needed a few things so I checked out Amazon. He was able to find all the parts he needed on Amazon, which is pretty great. Great price and decent replacement for the temperature control.
