The product does exactly what it says, it syncs to IOS easily and will show location of your dog. I just have received it so I look forward to being able to see where my dog is when she escapes mostly because she is has lost hearing which makes getting her to come an issue unless she can see you.

I’ve spent the last 4 years — since I adopted my cat — searching for a tracker that would work. Without exaggeration, I researched and/or ordered every tracker I could find online, bluetooth, radio frequency, or electronic fencing-type. Of course I tried the Tile and the Apple Tag. Each of these devices has pluses and minuses, mostly minuses. I finally settled on the Tile Pro because it has a 400ft. range. The Air Tag is not useful for pets.I am amazed and astonished at how outstandingly well this smart pet tracker works. It leaves every single tracker I’ve ever tested, or used long-term, in the dust. If your pet’s in the house, you’ll know it. The emoji you’ve given your pet on the Find My Phone App will appear where you are. If your pet has ditched the premises — and this is the astonishing part — your Find My Phone App will give you precise directions on how to find him! Like your Maps App will give you directions to the pet store. No tracking device I’ve ever used has even come close to doing this before. To test this smart tracker, I activated it by adding it to my Find My Phone App on my iPhone. Then I left the device home and went out. When I was about a half mile from the device, I opened Find My phone… And there it was! Directions to finding the device on a map. Remarkable. And for $19.99. The device is about the size of a Tile, maybe a tiny bit smaller. It comes with a waterproof silicone case to attach to a pet collar, a key ring, and a little flat round thing to open the device and change the battery. Also, if your pet is hiding somewhere in your house, this device won’t tell you that the signal is “moderate,” or “strong,” the way a Tile will, but it makes about the same sound as the Tile, so if you hunt around your house a little, you’re sure to find your little darling.

I decided to switch from this to a normal air tag for a few reasons:1. This does not have the "find" option in Find My. This is quite important for trying to locate your animal in a smaller area. This tag will take you to their general location but is not accurate enough to get you closer than maybe 10-20 feet2. It is quite bulky on my cat. The same thing would be true with small dogs. but I think this would fit great on a larger dog3. I was trying to get the sound to play because if I don't have access to the "find" feature, at least I should be able to play a sound, right? Well, unless you are standing right next to your animal, you will get an "Item Not Reachable Move around to connect" message, which kind of defeats the whole purpose of locating something if you don't know where it is within 3 feet. Those are the three reasons why I switched to a normal air tag for my cat. That being said, I am still going to find a use for this device. I might try to throw it in my car to have a general car tracker in case it gets stolen or I don't remember where I parked because I will be able to see my car if I know the general 10-20 foot zone it's in.

This tracker was great for my new puppy since he is still learning the rules around my household. I don't need to worry about him getting lost or running away. This gives me peace of mind that we can know where he is at all times.

I was able to pair up with my iPhone but my husbands would not recognize any way I tried to do it. I couldn’t even share it with him and he’s the one that’ll be with our dog more on walks and adventures. That was disappointing but we’ll keep it on my phone for now and hope we never need to use it. Also didn’t like that there wasn’t a secondary way to clamp this on a martingale collar. So we have a secondary collar just for this.

My dog loves to go exploring. She’s found a way to escape our fenced yard so this gps tracking helps with getting her back home safe. Easy to install and use.

Super easy to install onto my dog's collar. Haven't needed to actually track him yet, but he's been in the lake with it on and it still works.
