I unclogged my drain and found a makeup brush, a tooth pick, and loads of hair. Slim enough to go through the metal obstruction, easy to use and pretty easy to clean. The water doesn't even collect before going down the drain like it used to. It also comes with so many that I don't think I ever need to buy it again.

I used this little snake today for the first time. Got my drain unclogged really quickly. The mess it was able to easily pull out was amazing for such a little tool. Glad I bought it.

I ordered this flexible plastic drain snake because it was listed as being 30," 6" longer than the standard flexible plastic drain snake. That seemed like an advantage. The listing noted that unlike the rest, it had a handle that, when attached and turned allowed the user to twist the snake. The handle does that, though one's own hand could do that about as well. The actual flexible plastic drain snake is, however just 25" long, just an inch longer than the standard flexible drain snake snake out. It's the handle that adds the 5", but as the user turns the handle, most of it doesn't enter the drain, so one doesn't have much use of the promised 30".So it comes down to being the EX model of the flexible plastic drain snake that performs about as well as the base model.

I do not reccomend it. Do not waste your money and time. To short to reach any real clog. Easy to break. Cheap quality. Cheap material. Buy a real auger.

I use this to remove hair clogs in our bathroom drains. It works great and you can dispose of the barbed parts without having to touch the nasty clog. Great tool and works as described.

Used it to unclog a very slow bathroom sink. Basically the old soap and toothpaste narrowing of the arteries.Only quibble is that it is so hard to crank. A different brand had a larger and more substantial crank that was easier to use.

This drain snake works with some limitations. Because it is essentially folded in half and put in a box, you can’t get the kink out of the middle of the barbed cord. So it’s a bit hard to maneuver in a drain due to the curvature of the cord. The picture shows a straight tool and this is definitely not! I tried soaking it in boiling water and bending it back to straighten it out but to no avail. However, the tool was easy to assemble. I can’t recommend this tool due to it not being straight. If it were this would work perfectly but sadly it doesn’t.
