About this item

  • Maintains OEM DOT Blinker flash rate for a wide range of LED and non-LED blinker lamps.
  • Plug and Play connectivity with OEM connector (see compatibility list on Custom LED's company website).
  • Near zero initial turn-on delay (other LED relays delay when signals are first engaged).
  • Guaranteed to work for blinker Loads of 0.05A to 10A! That covers almost ANY LED or non-LED blinker on the market!
  • 1-year Warranty & Satisfaction Guarantee

Now you can finally fix the flash rate on your motorcycle with our unique Plug And Play solution! That's right, our Electronic LED Flasher relay directly replaces the stock flasher relay on most Yamaha, Honda and Kawasaki motorcycles by plugging directly into the harness in place of the OEM flasher relay! See the compatibility list on Custom LED's company website for a list of motorcycles for which this flasher relay is simply Plug-and-Play. This LED flasher relay guaranteed to and operate at the normal DOT blink rate for motorcycles with stock blinkers, LED blinkers, or any combination of both, provided the total load on the system is within 0.05A to 10A (0.6 Watts to 120 Watts) - which basically covers the majority of blinker products on the market. Do NOTE: in some rare instances only on certain motorcycles, when there are NO incandescent loads on the blinker system (LEDs front and rear), a problem called the 4-way blink problem may arise where all 4 blinker lamps blink at the same time like hazards. The 4-way blink problem has nothing to do with the flasher relay itslelf, and therefore must be solved independently. The flasher relay on a motorcycle ONLY affects the speed of the blinkers, nothing more. Read more about the 4-Way Blink Problem in our technical blog on our company website.

Quick and easy install and stopped my “hyper flash” turn signals

I am converting my Virago 250 to LED brake and turn signals, You will need this relay to prevent hyper flash or no flash with LED bulbs. Perfect fit, direct wiring replacement. I put a tyrap around the relay mount hole to secure it. It has a pigtail with the proper connector. Note: If you are converting a XV250 of similar years you will need to put a couple diodes inline with the turn signal indicator, I think there are some kits out there to do this. If not all turn signals will flash at once because they back feed through the turn signal indicator bulb.

Purchased this for my Rebel 1100 after installing a tail clean up kit which resulted in a turn signal hype flash. It took less than 5 minutes to hookup and it worked exactly as stated.

Honda doesn’t make it easy to replace but works great

Changed my Brother’s 1995 Honda ST1100 over to all LED lights which was a vast improvement over the stock lights but the downside was the turn signals would flash rapidly or “hyper flash” faster than the stock bulbs would. Picked this module up and in a simple plug & play operation swapped it out with the original flasher module. Now the turn signals flash at the proper rate and not annoyingly fast.

Prior to installing this custom flasher, I installed 4 resistors one on each line. They melted and looked like it would start a fire. I removed them all! Then installed the Custom Flasher, it had a plug that just fit into my existing flasher line. Easy! (1992 Nighthawk 750)

I purchased this flasher relay for a 2003 Honda Shadow Spirit 750 to avoid the hyper flash you get when replacing incandescent indicators to LED. It worked flawlessly and attained the desired effect, a typical flasher rhythm. It took me longer to find the darn relay on my bike than to install this replacement. Literally just plug and play on this thing. If anyone is buying this relay for the same application and is having a hard time locating the turn relay, it is located on the right side of the bike, in front of and slightly behind the fuse box assembly. There are two relays back there, one for the fuel cutoff and one for the indicator lights (mine actually said turn relay on it).I would buy this product again and would recommend it vs. inline resistors. Plug and play product, vs. splice in resistors for only a few bucks more.
