I'll try to buy local, when I can. It gets frustrating when you look at four different stores, and none of them that previously carried this product now have it. Falling back to Amazon, and getting it in two days was just too convenient. When you need to fill nail holes or minor damage in white painted surfaces, this stuff can't be beat.

I've been installing kitchen cabinets for 35 years. We use fillers to fill the joints and nail holes on crown moldings. I've found that Elmer's brand of interior filler is smoother, whiter, and faster drying than other brands of similar material. This filler is less common, but does the job much better and easier. I bought the six pack and will share it with my fellow tradesmen because, for as much as I use it, I can easily make a tube last for a year or more. It also doesn't dry up in the tube like others do. Great, great product.

I haven't had any luck finding this at the big home improvement stores lately. I'm not sure why they stopped carrying it. They still carry Elmer's white wood filler, but it has sand or something gritty in it and is in a slightly larger tube. This one goes on clean and allows you to fill holes completely and sand smooth. This is one of my go to products for moldings or other finish work that will be painted.One of the reviews mentioned that it was too hard and didn't go on easily. Mine was actually wetter than I was used to, but it was easy to work with. Maybe they got a bad one or it was punctured and dried out or something.
