Putty is a good idea but it doesn't really do a lot. I tried to apply this putty stick to a small dent/hole on my ikea desk but it just felt like chalk and wouldn't stay in place after following instructions. The putty would stay as a chalk and whenever you try to use the included squeegee it would move the chalk all together rather than getting rid of the excess to make a smooth surface.

Really easy to use! I like the fact that it comes in three different colours and comes with a spatula. It was useful for a quick touchup of furnitures that were chipped after moving.

This wood fil-stick is really well.It filled holes in our baseboards after getting our floors done and are not noticeable. They definitely work for small holes, the bigs holes need to be filled with wax sticks burned by fire.
