After losing power for a week during the recent hurricane, my very real concern was my phone running out of power. I got this to take care of the next emergency. This could also be great for camping to recharge your phone, use the radio, or use the lights for reading, etc. The flashlight part is not that bright but does the job. The read light that is under the solar charger, is actually much brighter. The radio comes with charging cable. You can charge the radio itself and it will self charge your phone without having to crank the radio. Or if the radio battery is dead, you have a crank to charge either the radio or your phone. I tried charging phone using the crank. I took maybe 100 turns to charge 1 percent. This only took maybe 90 seconds to do. It takes around three hours to fully charge the radio. Overall I like it. It's good for emergencies for a lot of uses. It does come with Am/Fm radio and weather channel. For the price it's a great thing to have around just in case.

The radio is an excellent size for its purpose. It charged quickly and without any trouble by USB.Based on the weather band, the speaker is what you expect for this price point and more than adequate for the purpose. Built in compass is accurate. For reference, I am in a deep valley in a very rural area. A simple clock radio picks up nothing at all on either AM or FM, nor does the other weather radio I own. This radio performed very well under the circumstances. The weather band, which is the most important part, came in clear, even in the least ideal part of my house for a signal. It picked up more more of an AM/FM signal that I expected. This radio caught several AM stations at fair quality, and I suspect that I can toy around with where it's placed in the house and get a couple of FM stations.

I wanted a portable radio to use when I was working outside. I had a windup solar powered one from years ago and it finally died. This sure fits the bill. It's compact size belies the sound output and brings in radio stations clearly. Also, be careful not to be looking at the lights (any of them) as they are blinding bright. A really good deal for the money.

I use this out on the back deck when im cooking out or in the shop working on a project. The radio works 7-8 hours depending on where you put the volume. I left it out in the rain a few times on accident and it still works fine. The speaker is good for its small size. The lights work great and the battery lasts a long time using the lights as well. I haven't used it for charging my phone yet or anything like that. The one thing i don't like about this one is that the radio diel for finding a channel isn't as sensitive as i would like it to be. I find myself having to really concentrate on making small movements with the diel to be able to find that perfect spot for the station i want.4/5 starsFantastic for what its meant for.

I like that this radio is sturdy built, and has Weather band, AM, FM, crank charging, solar charging, or plug in charging. It has a flash light too. The crank is far more sturdy than some emergency radios I have owned. It is a good size too, not a super tiny like most. Sound quality very good.

This product is better than I expected. It can hold a charge longer than normal from cranking and can also be charged separately. Radio is clear and all features work as they should. I think this is a great option for an emergency radio for the home, car or camping.
