ENGO Arch Blister Application

Where Do You Get Blisters?

The backs of your heels? Your arches? Your toes? No matter where you get blisters, there's an ENGO Blister Patch for you. ENGO Blister Patches stick to your shoe (not your skin) and protect your skin from harmful, blister-causing friction. You'll notice the difference immediately.

Easy to Apply

  1. Trim to fit. Trim your patch with scissors if you need a different size or shape.
  2. Make sure your shoe is clean and dry. You'll apply adhesive side of ENGO patch to desired location of clean, dry footwear. ENGO may last longer when anchored to a surface. For example, wrapping patches around the edge/sides of the insole.
  3. Put the patch in your shoe. Remove the rest of the backing and stick the patch in place. If blisters form where the shoe and insole come together, use two patches; place one patch on the shoes and the other on the insole. That way you'll create smooth interface and fully protect the target area.
  4. Press firmly on the entire patch to secure. To protect remaining patches and preserve their quality, store your unused patches in the resealable ENGO bag that they came in.
  5. Get back to doing what you love. Enjoy running, walking, hiking, sports, and exercising!

My wife ordered these to help put a bit more life in her favourite work out shoes. She has said that they were easy to install and work well.

I bought these in a last ditch effort prior to my first ultra marathon. I was struggling with blisters from shoes that I otherwise liked and didn't want to spend the money on new shoes. I installed these pads and they lasted the entire race (50k) without ANY blisters on the areas which I used them. I cannot recommend them enough, just make sure they are properly stuck to the shoe before running.

I rubbed through my third pair of tennis shoes on the inside back heel to the point I couldn’t wear them without getting a painful blister. Nothing worked to fit it until this. I took a very small piece of foam and filled in the crater I had made and covered it with these strips. Worked like a charm. No more friction. Saved my shoes and feet. I will preemptively put these in any future tennis shoes.

Yes, these are very pricey, but I was getting blisters from my winter boots after they started to wear down after several years, so I took a chance and purchased these. I used a hair dryer to help make these really stick and conform to the shape of the inside boot, and they've stayed on ever since... and NO more blisters! Would purchase these again for sure!

I am a long distance walker, hiker, and backpacker. I have been using these patches for several years. They prevent blisters on the balls and heels of my feet. They also work for placement anywhere needed. I have been experimenting for over 30 years to build a combination of boots, socks, insoles, and blister prevention that works. I have found a few that work but none better than: Merrell Moab 2 GTX Mid boots, Wright socks, Sofsole Perform Athlete insoles, and ENGO patches. I give most of the credit to the Wright socks and ENGO patches. I suspect that combination would work with many different boot and insole combos. I have never had any trouble with the adhesive and I do a lot of my walking in the heat of Texas and Arizona. I'm on road and trail approximately 150-175 miles a month doing between 5 and 20 miles each hike (I even did a 40 miler last spring. My feet were sore and tired but without blisters or even hot spots.) I get 4 or 5 months out each set of these patches. I think the double layer Wright socks are taking up a lot of the sliding and making the patches last longer. That's a good thing because they are a bit pricey. I would like to say I will stop buying them because they cost too much but I won't. That's because I'm an old retired guy now and I need all the help I can get to stay out in the woods. Happy Trails.

Got huge blisters on the side of my feet from my skates. Old bloke said to try these Teflon patches and so far so good. Had it on my boot for about 4 weeks now with over 150km on them. Stuck on really strong. Still minor blisters with really long skates but I wear super thin socks due to a tight boot fit. If I wear normal sports socks the blisters totally dissapear. Would definately reccomend these as the first point of call for blisters.

I like the patches , they work wonders! No more rubbing against my shoe. The patches adhere well to the material inside the shoes , I haven’t had any issues with slippage or detaching. I work in manufacturing and have to wear steel toe shoes every day and these patches have made a big difference with my shoe comfort. They are a bit thin which I thought would do no good but of quality for something so simple as a patch. I would recommend this product to anyone who has bruising from rubbing against shoe.

I have a pair of Brooks Ghost 10s that gave me a blister on my left heel (where the insole meets the soft padding in the back of the shoe). I applied one of these to the almost new shoes and the patch did not adhere very well. Not only did I have a fairly uncomfortable wrinkle in it (my bad), but I easily pulled the patch off after a long walk. I used alcohol to clean the shoes and tried again a day later... it kind of stuck to the insole, but did not stick to the back of the shoe. I like the shoes so much that I bought a 2nd pair and applied a patch to the new shoes... again it did not stick to the back of the shoe and could easily be pulled off after a 3 mile walk (even though body heat is supposed to help set the adhesive). I'm not sure if I got a bad batch, but I have used 3 of the 4 larger stickers and really don't see the point in trying again... at least not for the heel area. I was hoping for a somewhat permanent solution but I am going to try mole skin next. I read all the great reviews and followed all the directions so I really don't understand. : (

I really wanted to like these. Despite being excited by how promising the reviews were, I still managed to get horrible blisters on the outside edges of my big toes and the outsides of the balls of my feet after putting them in my sneaks. While these may have helped a little, by mile 4 of a 10k, I was getting hot spots and by the end of the race, I had quarter-sized blisters. Total bummer. I'm giving them 3 stars because they adhered very well to my insoles and my sneakers, especially after the blow dryer trick. In all fairness, I've tried 8 different shoe brands due to toe/foot pain when training for half marathons and am currently running with custom-fit orthotics and Altra Torins, and still getting blisters, so I realize it may just be me, not the blister patches!

Firstly, the product itself is brilliant. I had to walk on a foot that already had a blister, these arrived before I knew I was going for a long walk, and the blister didn't bother me at all.I was so impressed with the single pack I purchased I wanted to put them into my other shoes and so purchased a "six pack". However, what you get is 4 of the same size of the single pack and two small ones. I only get blisters in one area and only the large pads are of use to me. I went back and reviewed the description to check I had not missed it, and the sizes aren't stated anywhere and even the photo is not what you get on the six pack (as the six pack packaging tells you immediately of the different sizes). So bottom line, I would still buy, but only purchase the single/intro pack rather than the six pack, as you're not getting a good deal, you're actually paying for items that aren't stated anywhere (and for me are useless).
