Quality handheld tape dispenser from a trusted name brand.I have a need for multiple tape types, I use standard clear tape less often.But when I need it, I'm not changing out my stationary tape dispenser. This works well for my occasional needs. Blade is sharp, cuts the tape well.

Having used a lot of different tape dispensers in my line of work, I can say that for the most part most of them are not designed for long-term use. Eventually the roles don't want to stay on or the teeth have become dull or damaged and it becomes more of a pain to use the dispenser than it is to just use the roll of tape by itself; this tape dispenser is built well enough that I have no concerns over the longevity of the use of this product. Unlike the big bulky tape guns, which typically hold up very well, this can be more easily used with one hand with varying types of tape. The larger tape guns only work one-handed if you are using a very thin tape that also has weak adhesion so that it comes off the roll very easily, this one works well one-handed even with very strong packing tape like I use. I even tested how it worked with gorilla tape, a type of duct tape, and it even dispensed and cut that perfectly with no leftover adhesive res to do on the blade or feeling like it was having trouble getting the tape off the roll. I absolutely recommend this product.

This is a nifty little dispenser. The metal strip near the cutter uses static to keep the tape in the right spot. It works most of the time, but isn’t perfect. When that fails, the tape wraps around the roller and sticks to itself. Fortunately, the roller is ribbed, so it’s not too hard to get it unstuck. The blade has a spring-loaded safety cover, which works well enough to prevent accidental scrapes. Overall, this is a decent upgrade to the cheap Scotch-brand one I had.

This tape dispenser is well made from quality plastic. It appears durable and rugged. The dispenser is easy to use one handed. It does a fantastic job and is lightweight. I think that these really are just a step above the ones that come included with rolls from the store. It is nicer, but not enough to justify the price difference. I have just gotten using those ones for years that I am faster with them too.

I could really use a new tape dispenser and I thought this looked like a good model from a good brand, but I have been getting a very high failure to catch/stick rate. Yes, I have the tape installed correctly. I'm holding it like pictured. Even on a hard flat surface I slide the dispenser and the tape will not reliably catch. I even pull the tape out an inch or more (I also changed tape brands) and it is still hit or miss (mostly miss). I also notice the end of the tape has a tendency to flap backwards so I have to keep moving the tape into the correct position.The one I got is unusable. I'm not going to keep trying multiple times when I need to tape a lot of boxes. Pretty disappointing.

Great little tape dispenser, and way way better than a tape gun. Ergonomically this is a lot comfier to use than those clunky tape guns. Plus it's a lot more compact, lightweight and easy to use. Tape is easy enough to install into it and it dispenses well. No real complaints, easy recommendation.

Works well for small packages and allows you to get as much tape as needed. I also used it for large boxes and works for that too. I don't know how well it'd work for professional everyday jobs but for having around the house when needed, it's perfect. The tape can slide out sideways sometimes but still works.

I use shipping tape every day for my business and I was looking for an alternative to the bulky tape gun. I came across this dispenser but it had low reviews so I was skeptical to buy it. I'm in love! It fit my 110yard rolls perfectly. I love the blade cover and the fact that it has a static cling strip so the tape doesn't get stuck to itself!
