perfect fit for my hs45 hedge trimmers. Didn't even need to adjust it. There were several others that said that they would fit, but there were slight differences like plastic elbows instead of brass fuel line fittings, or the throttle fititng for a right angle end, instead of the straight one i needed. My trimmer now starts right up, and keeps running even when i hold it sideways. Best one out there for the money, and the fit. And, for those that may be looking for an "american " made one, or an actual stihl replacement...The original carburetor was made in China anyway. And these trimmers I have are 15 years old. And with all the extra parts it comes with, you'll be able to fix common stuff like the primer bulb, or spark plug, and fuel lines...although my fuel lines are different in that I have a seperate line that runs from the overflow from the primer to the top of my fuel tank...not one fitting at the bottom of the tank. no biggy.

Not sure what other kits might be available, but this kit has everything needed plus a couple of spares. Easy install and weed wacker started right up and ran great. No adjustments necessary. Great value for the money.

I can't say enough good things about this product. This is the second one of these I have purchased. The first one was from another seller, it is no longer available. These carb kits are easy to install and make your trimmer run like new. The last one I installed lasted about 6 or 7 years. I have had my Stihl trimmer for 17 years. Rather than rebuild the carburetor you are much better off just purchasing a whole new carb, spark plug and fuel line kit. Takes all of 30 minutes to install them and in my case, my dead trimmer started right up. So, you save the cost of a new trimmer and extend the life of yours 5 or 6 years, for under $20. Well worth the money.

This was a complete kit including a perfectly tuned replacement carb, fuel lines, filter, gaskets, primer bulb air filter and spark plug. Carb went on easily, replaced the fuel line, filter and spark plug. Trimmer started right up and ran flawlessly, no tuning needed. 5 stars is not enough, a great kit to tune up your 2 stroke line trimmer for the spring. Can’t beat the value and ease of install.
