The material is sturdy but the bubble sided tape does not hold, I had to use screws and washers to hold the gasket it place.

Did not stick well on first attempt I had to staple it toGet it to stay . After 6 months it began to crack every 8 inches exposing the door gap. Try another product

Apply the product in a different way to solve my problem - added to the existing seal and working well of deflecting rainwater away from garage door as well as leaves and cold air drafts.

Overall this is a nice product, just don't get hung up on the screws and caps because they're junk. The screws should have been machine style and not the type you would countersink.

I wished I had gotten this seal years ago to close the gaps around my garage doors. My only issue is the Cheap plastic screw covers that come with the seal kit, they can easily pop open or fall off if over-tighten. The tape on the seal is good to help hold the rubber seal on the Jamb until you put the screws on. I installed the seal during the NYC 2024 summer and the 3m type tape didn't hold well. I used a Brad stapler to help keep the Door seal attached. When you close the garage door, the seal sits firmly against the door while adding a bit of resistance to the door Jamb making the door feel tight. Recommended

This seal did a really good job around my garage door. Seals very good and keeps most, if not all the wind out. It is more flexible then another seal I purchased prior. The flexibility made it easier too install and allowed the self adhesive tape to stick.
