Battery is a lithium CR 2032 3VHow to openTool: plastic spudger or phone opening tool (must be plastic as hard but not flexible metal will break the remote)Red: Separate clips around red marked area.Orange:Separate the back clip area.Green: The metal U that holds the clips can be removed and the front can opened.Slide the battery and place it with the brand logo up -+ and done.Hope this works as this will be of help when I forget this later on.

Bought these after the ones we got with our gate were a little ugly. These were easy to program and look great on keys

Easy to program, our gate came with 2, but we wanted more to give out to friends, no complaints, the gate works awesome too!!
