About this item

  • Off-corner loading design on box end provides better grip and reduces fastener rounding
  • Stubby beam length for when clearance is limited

Product Description

The GEARWRENCH combination wrenches are durable tools for most jobs. They are made from alloy steel with either a full polish or satin finish that resists rust & corrosion. The off-corner loading design on both ends provides a stronger grip on fasteners, reduces fastener rounding, and delivers up to 25% more torque to the fasteners. Sizes are stamped on the beam for quick, easy, & permanent identification. The box end is offset 15° for increased access to fasteners. Available in stubby & long pattern lengths and 6 & 12 point, the GEARWRENCH combination wrenches are a must have for every toolbox.

From the Manufacturer

The KD Tools 20-Piece SAE/Metric Stubby Wrench Set includes both 3/8-inch through 15/16-inch and 10mm through 19mm wrenches. The stubby pattern length provides extreme access, while the surface drive plus feature increases fastener grip while preventing fastener rounding. Wrench sizes are indicated by stamps on both sides and the head of the wrench for greater visibility. KD Tools backs its wrenches with a lifetime warranty.

I just wish they had it with and inch wrench, but overall is perfect.

If you've been working on cars as long as I have (40 years), then you know how a stubby wrench can help access some bolts/nuts in stubborn locations. These wrenches do just that and don't cost an arm and a leg. These wrenches have bailed me out many times and I will recommend them to any professional mechanic, or a weekend warrior.

I use this type of product everyday at the shop I work on. From first impression, they look of very nice quality and the best part they are guaranteed for life. The only downside was the time of shipping, I know it was prime and I’m from Puerto Rico, but it took more than I thought.

This set is a stubby NON-RATCHETING set from Gearwrench. The wrenches are clean and well built. This set can help you in those hard to reach places. The price you find here is better than the ones you find anywhere else. Great purchase!

As far as I know the amount of wrenches that are offered in this kit for the price is incomparable to any other brand. As a technician over the years I have been investing more and more money into tools that are made by gearwench and have been staying away from the main tool truck brands, wrenches like these are a big reason as to why. Now, I've borrowed stubby wrenches that are snap on and I love them but it's the point of comparison that is why I will stay away from them. In a kit not only does it cost more for the snap-on you get a less variety. So now, if you think about the quality of these wrenches I personally see no difference that would make me choose one over the other. I've looked over both and to me I see maybe some minor quality difference between them such as the finish or a slight difference in angles. I must say if you are hesitant or unsure about buying these they have made me so glad I ever bought them. Every once in a while I'm taking them out of my box and using them on jobs where I just can't quite fit anything else and boy are these wrenches a life saver!

I needed an economical stubby combo metric wrench set, and this fits the bill perfectly.Very hard to beat this kinda quality for this price...If you just need a bare essential combo wrench set, then take a serious look at these. This set us replacing a Sears Craftsman set, for obvious reasons.

Up until recently I've managed without stubby wrenches. I recently had a project where one was needed so I decided to get a fairly complete set. I've used them a few times since and they are good tools. The blowmold case also fits nicely in the tool box.

My first set of personal stubbies. Little worried at first but these Things are beefy not cheap! I was hoping the came in a enclosed case but they don't. Just as advertised in the pic, saran wrapped, with a little piece of cardboard over the left corner of the box. For the price and for the brand if it comes with a case it should have a cover.... if not, place it in the same design that you made for your other combination wrenches.

I bought this set close to 2 years ago to be used at my job as a collision tech. While I do not use them often, when I need them, they are a real life saver. Often times they are just the right size so I can avoid having to rip apart more than I have to. I have had zero problems with these wrenches and would recommend this set to anyone looking to add stubby wrenches to their arsenal.Pros:+ Decent Quality+ Can help you save timeCons:- None so far
