This seems to work similar to Apple AirTags. I tested it with my phone turned off, but while in an area with other people. So, someone nearby had an Apple phone ... I think that's how it works. And so, knowing its limitations ... it needs an iPhone to be nearby ... I think just any iPhone. So, when I turned my phone on ... when I was not near it, it still updated the location. I don't know about the battery life. It comes with two batteries, one installed and an extra one.

A great GPS tracker that works on vehicles and even pet collars. The fact that it has no monthly fee makes it a budget-friendly choice, and the waterproof design ensures durability.

This tracker works a whole lot better than our old tracker. I think maybe because the old tracker is based in China. This one is a lot more accurate than the old one also. The old one will get you close. However this one will put you within a few feet of it.
