Due to our negligence, there are indeed some problems with the 3" slot of the first shipment. We have disposed of the remaining inventory, but we cannot make sure that the shipment from Amazon's warehouse does not contain returns from other buyers. This is the biggest bug.

This is a great product that works well. My bar has knurling in the center which grips it well and keeps it in place. The only thing I wish it had was just one more notch for either 1.5 or 2 inch. Maybe a future update of the product will include this.

I’ve been deal with a shoulder issue and my range of motion has been affected, BUT I didn’t want to stop benching! So, I bought this product and I really like it. It fits snuggly on the bar and is light, so it doesn’t impact the weight on the bar.

I've put this thing through its paces. It doesn't split into pieces, it fits a 20Kg non-knurled bar - standard diameter. The various knock-outs allow multiple heights and uses - especially for people recovering from soft-tissue damage who need to control range of motion. I suspect people complaining about this thing popping off are using the 16Kg conditioning "women's" bar. The only issue I can see is it is narrow. If you are a standard human like myself, it's either perfect or maybe a towel over your chest will help blunt the corners when it lands or sits. If you are a biggun' this might feel a little small and the edges might irritate when using heavy weight. Again, nothing a towel won't fix. Bottom line it allows you to adjust the contact distance between ribs and bar and works in flat, decline and incline positions equally well.

Purchased this to help increase my bench. I don't have a lifting partner so the age old board bench was out. This pad works exactly as advertised

I'm very happy I purchased this product because it allows me to lift heavy while reducing strain on my previously injured right shoulder. My right pec/deltoid used to bother me a lot while benching ( I'm sort of tall and skinny so it's difficult to lower bar to chest). In fact after a month of benching with this I was able to blow past my goal of benching 225 lbs, so all in all glad I bought this and I hope it lasts.

I would rate this 5 stars but the 3" slot doesn't stick to the bar, which is pretty inconvenient. In the photo I tied it to the bar w a headband.
