Features:
CP2102 core chip : CP2102 USB to serial chip is the best quality , most stable performance far exceeds the cost of the same chip , such as PL2303, FT232, CH341 and so on. High-speed, reliable, stable is capable of leading CP2102 USB to serial module sales in the important reasons.
Ultra-small size : the circuit board only 3.1cm X 1.8cm. Ultra- small size , lack of a U disk size , only with a USB port width , even on those two USB ports from a very tight laptop can easily be placed side by side two .
3.3V and +5 V Compatibility: This product perfectly supports 3.3V. Now a lot of high-end microcontroller, such as ARM, STM32, DSP , adopted 3.3V. Additional modules are only compatible 5V level , they do not have 3.3V voltage output function.
Power Output: This module can be powered through to the microcontroller system to facilitate debugging. 5V-500mA or 3.3V-100mA.
Overcurrent protection : Onboard resettable fuse , even if the positive and negative short-circuit will not damage the circuit board or computer. If there is a short circuit or current exceeds 500mA , the fuse will automatically disconnect , to be short-circuited fuse circuit to restore non- normal . Effectively protect the security of your computer.
Transceiver indicator : When the serial line to send or receive data lines , the board will receive indicator lights for easy debugging.

I got it. Plugged in 3 wires. Gnd on this to Gnd on MCU, RX on this to TX on MCU, TX on this to RX on MCU. This is switched to 1,0 usb to ttl on. The other switched to left… I plugged this into RPI USB port, started Thonny, plugged in my MCU board and watched the console information of the MCU. Done.It took much longer to write this review.

Was excited to get this so I could do some debugging/testing, but plugged it in to no avail. No LED's, nothing in device manager, nothing. Upon closer inspection, appears that something wasn't soldered quite right (circled, in picture.) Don't they at least plug these in and look for LED's to light up? Anything? Now I have to drive 30+ miles in to town to drop this off for an $8 return. Definitely going to "Letgo" of this and this company. Buy at your own risk, but considering there are dozens (if not more) of alternatives on here I'd skip this one. Now I get to postpone my work while I wait for another company to send me one.

I used this to reprogram some sonoff S31 plugs with esphome and it worked great, once I set the mode correctly. I had a bit of trouble at first trying to get it in the right mode, as it has 6 modes but does not come with a manual. I was able to find it online, but it was a bit hard to find, they really need to link the manual in the product description or something. Just search for: "6 in 1 Multi-function Module CP2102 USB to TTL User Manual". Anyway once I changed the mode to USB to TTL by settings switch 1 to on and switch 2 to off it worked well (see first photo). It seems like a good versatile little adapter for a very reasonable price, $7.50 when I bought it.

no documentation. I had it find a similar device from another vendor to get a pinout of all the pins. The ones on the bottom of the board are poorly marked.

I purchased this to flash Tasmota to SONOFF iFan03. It took a little time to configure but worked perfectly. There are no instructions that come with the device, after a little searching, I found the attached diagram which shows the proper placement of the switches. For iFan03, it was 1 on, 2 off, S1 on. You will also need to download CP210x_Universal_Windows_Driver.zip which can be found at silabs.com
