Styrofoam is everywhere, some of the screws are rusted and damaged feels like most the parts were re used it came partly assembled but it wasn't even assembled correctly I had to completely take some of it apart because it was upside down facing the wrong way. the quality was very disappointing...

First off, for the price it’s better than anything I could build from wood. I do a great deal of metal fabricating and the steel is surprising strong. It should take the sort of abuse I inflict on all my tools. However, while the design is well thought out, the execution is a little off. But if you knew my gene pool, you’d say the same thing about me. But I digress.I’ve had to play around with the arm alignment and shim the clamp head so it drops clean and flat. That’s not a deal breaker. The instructions were similar to IKEA’s, so essentially useless but I just looked at a picture online and had it assembled in less than 20 minutes. (Which is saying something, given my pesky gene pool. If I can do it, a trained monkey can do it. And a fair spot better I’d guess.)The key is to “dry fit” it together fully before tightening the nuts and bolts. It arrived a week early and I’d give the thing 5 stars but as I had to shim that one piece, I’m saving one of the stars for me. I could use the ego boost.

I had a little bit of a time getting the board set right but got it. If you do not bolt the base down it will tilt when you bring the arm down to screen, but understandable with all the weight shifting so I learned (till I decided a permanent spot) to put a block under the board to help balance it.

Is there any way to fix and help keep the arm down? As I lay the arm down it tends to pop back up, even after adjusting the tension on the springs.

Comme plusieurs l'ont mentionné il n'y a pratiquement pas d'instruction. Ensuite il faut le visser dans une surface, le cadre ne tient absolument pas en bas donc il faut tenir la poignée tout en étalant l'encre.

Upon opening, I noticed that there are no instructions but a basic layout of the machine containing a message saying to tighten everything after proper assembly. I'm thinking, "Whatever, I could use the picture as a reference" but the items on the paper don't match what came in the box. I got a random little L key that is useless, a flathead screwdriver with phillips screws, and a mounting bracket that doesn't seem to be compatible nor does it appear on the paper. The base of the printer in the picture has long holes in it although the one I got doesn't. So what role does that black bracket play? amd then on youtube there seems to be different versions of the same printer so it's not like their assembly videos helped me. This has potential to be a good quality starter printer but what's the point if you can't set it up? I feel like I got scammed so I'll be returning and trying out another product.

I was probably one of the lucky ones that received a complete set ( Some screws came loose but I found them on the styro foam they used to pack the press)All screws are there. Arrived on time. My wonderful husband set it up on a kitchen utility cart we bought at a garage sale it was a bit confusing because there is no instruction but husband figured it out.It looks really nice but I have not use it yet...We’ll see if theres an update on this review..

This unit did not have assembly directions. The spring assembly is not made safe. When you press the metal bar down, the springs could pop off. Also the pallet had no holes, no diagram, no directions for attaching the black metal piece to it.I am returning this item for a refund.

It came exactly as expected, I hate how people leave a crappy review because they didn’t realize that it needed to be screwed in, that’s not the products fault. READ WHAT YOURE BUYING. Over all the product is what you would expect, it is well made, and it takes a little while to get it set up and get used to how to use it. There wasn’t any clear instructions that came with it, but with a general knowledge of how a press works, and a quick google search I had it all figured out within 2 hours :)
