Was excited to get these. While opening the package and removing the chisels, the handles fell off two of them. Wasn’t sure if I should epoxy them back on and decided to try them. Seem to be better after pounding on them. Guess we’ll see. Not the quality I’m accustomed to from Irwin.Update….Sent complaint to manufacturer and they made it right and stood behind their product.

An amazing product. Great set of chisels at a very fair price. The leather pouch is a lovely and useful touch. These chisels feel perfect in my hand, the steel is beautiful and sharp and they work. Marples make great products and I recommend them highly. For the price this is exceptional value. These chisels are handmade in the UK.

Out of the box the Marples are very nice. They came sharp and shiny, and all of the angles were spot-on. I had to flatten the back of two of them ever so slightly, but I don’t think you can find a better quality set for this price. As a bonus, they also came with a pretty nice leather roll. This way they keep looking good, they stay sharp, and most importantly, you always know where they are!
