These are awful. Couldn't use them. The plastic part is OK but the soil is horrible. I don't even know if it was real soil. Hard to put a seed in. It almost felt like fine rubber mixed with peat moss. All the seeds i planted ended up with some kind of mold or green stuff growing on them.

I have a hydroponic system that I suddenly found it hard to find the right plug for my baskets. These baskets actually fit better. the plugs come dry but fill out nicely when put in the system. The small hole in the plug makes it easy to just drop a seed in it and wait for the growth. I will definitely be getting more.

My second hydroponic system was a diy. This worked perfectly in the system. I liked the smaller size which was difficult to find. Didn't have any mold growth or smells. Sponges fit perfectly. Totally worth the mony.

I bought these as a refill to my planter and I prefer them over the ones that came with the planter. Great value.
