Very good, well-crafted product. I've had seats with plastic fittings before, but they weren't as substantial as this one by far, and only lasted about a year. My previous one had metal fittings and lasted about six years, and this may last just as long or more. Very easy to keep clean, and very comfortable to use. Thank you!

Cheap surface full of bubbles not at all like the pictures. Received damaged and package opened inside delivery box. Company pays only 20$ for return that cost us 50$!!! Very disappointed because the color was perfect and exactly as shown. If only it had been well made. So this cheap seat cost me more than 60$ and 50$ to return. Do not buy theses seats. You will not get all of your money back. They should not be selling on Amazon or anywhere else.

Yes, the black looks pretty, however there are dings all over it, sharp ones from unfinished wood and or paint. Either way it's awful. Also I'm not talking one or two, at least a dozen on the actual seat as well as lid. In short, it feels like little sharp splinters. The hardware on the white version of this seat was a really nice brushed metal, I assumed the black would have it as well but it's SUPER CHEAP looking white plastic. Save yourself a HUGE headache and find another seat elsewhere. This is junk. Unfortunately I installed before noticing all this and threw out the old one, so I'm stuck with this now till I find a better seat. Lesson learned. Really bummed out.UPDATE: I tried keeping this to see if I could get used to the imperfections, however tonight, when I went to sit down and 'meditate' for a bit, I almost went flying as the hinge on the left side literally just broke off (and I'm not a big person either). Right now I have it taped together so there are no injuries before a new seat (different company of course) arrives. The plastic just cracked in two. This is the crappiest workmanship I've seen in a long time. I've had toilet seats that have lasted for years. This one didn't make it past a few months! DO. NOT. BUY. THIS. JUNK! You're welcome

This product is garbage. The installation is ridiculous and then everytime you sit on the seat it slides sideways.

Love the seat. One caveat - the hinges are thin plastic. If you, like we, have a room mate who is large and doesn't care about things, it will not last. Made it about 3 hours before it was broken. I don't think it would have broken in a normal use environment, but that's not here. We liked it enough to buy another one with metal hinges and trade the hinges (not a straight forward or easy process as they were not the same size) and then reinstall. Looking forward to a long life for it now.

Where to begin... This toilet seat was not great at all. Mediocre at best. The hinges are plastic which ended up breaking about a week in, and then fully snapped off 2 weeks after. Just not good plastic. The screws are plastic as well, which isn't too bad of an idea if it can take the strain. Another thing to look out for is that it is laminent paper, so it can peel off. Placement wasn't the best at where it ends on mine, as the lip ended on the top front of the seat. I did know this from the beginning, but feel they could do a better job, perhaps by putting it on the bottom of the seat.

Installing it wasn’t the easiest because you are not screwing from the top you have to do it underneath. Once I got it on, of it the other screws that I didn’t touch was loose and the entire seat slipped off the toilet. I had to take it off and tighten it. After a few days it seems as if that screw is starting to loosen again and you have to take the ENTIRE seat off in order to tighten it. I wish I would have just gotten the more expensive one now.
