High markup for sure, but it's easy to use and works well. Design could be a little easier to pull back off the tank (with a frame).

Great scewer for slicing and holding fresh fruits and thick objects. Plecos are hardy thick skinned fish so they're pretty stable BUT this device does not come with a cap to cover the sharp end. I have multiple fish in my tank and the plecos love this scewer as did my catfish but one clumsily scrapped into the spike and died. Not all fish are as rough tectured as plecos. Easy solution, grab a 2mm rubber cap. We did and haven't had one problem since. Fish definitely aren't afraid ☺️

I saw the reviews and had a hard time justifying spending the money on something the probably cost a few dollars. It is a purchase for convenience, it makes it easier to feed veggies and meat to your aquatic animals. No more sticking your arm in the tank to retieve leftovers, super simple to use. It works as it should and only took 2 days for the fish to become acustomed to and begin using, just wish it was cheaper.

Would highly recommend to anyone who has plecos! I have a very large common pleco with a group of mbuna cichlids and at first, the pleco would eat the cucumber we provided but he later lost interest. (not sure why he just never wanted anymore) Then, the mbuna cichlids started to take interest in the cucumber. They eat it so fast! I'm so glad that there a simple and easy way to feed your fish fresh food.Easy to clean, easy to use, and would highly recommend!

There's no understating the usefulness of this product. I hate having to reach way in to my aquarium to scoop up uneaten vegetables, or rig some kind of system to keep them from bobbing to the surface. Most people just use a fork. I mean, we're not trying to win any coolness awards, but it low-key doesn't look that great. This person who invented (?) and sells this item has definitely cornered the market on this invention. Good for them! Though as a consumer, of course, I wish it were a little cheaper as I get multiple tanks. I got a very nice handwritten/signed card from the seller, as well as some "swag" lol. But the personal touch is noted and appreciated! Definitely recommend this product as a splurge convenience item for any aquarium with a pleco, cory, shimp, or other algae eating creature. My beta also enjoys to swim through the coils, so perk (I make sure the rubber ball covers the very sharp end of it--be careful, I poked myself once, it didn't draw blood, but very sharp!)

If you've been in the hobby for any length of time you probably know all about the different methods to prevent your veggies from floating when introduced into the tank: Blanching, tying them to a rock, utilizing a suction clip, trying to squeeze the air out of them, threading plant weights into them etc. Most of which require you to put your arm in the tank upon introduction and removal of uneaten foods. This device has simplified my feeding of veggies to such a degree that I tend to offer them more frequently, which is a boon to my fish and me.If you feed vegetables to your fish, buy this item already, you'll be glad you did.
