Picked up this bench to go with a secondhand Marcy multi-exercise setup. Assembly was very easy (I used my socket set instead of the included wrench, but all tools were included). It's sturdy, seems well constructed. When reading the manual, page 1, line item 8, the manual states "The weight bench is designed to support a maximum user weight of 265 lbs. (120kg), and a maximum total weight of 510 lbs. (231k)."Something to keep in mind in case you are already benching north of 250lbs, you'll run out of 'ceiling' with this bench sooner than later.

As most home gym users will know, space is usually of a premium. This bench folds compactly with relative ease. This space saving design was a key element in my decision to purchase this item. When folded, the bench is slightly difficult to carry. I'm sure it isn't designed to be carried (especially up and down stairs) and it's worth noting that changing it from folded to unfolded is very easy to do with the locking pin.The bench is sturdy when used in any position. I like the use of a screw to adjust the angle of the bench even if sometimes, it's difficult to locate the hole. It can feel somewhat time consuming making the adjustments however it's great to use this as a rest period in between sets and I've built my routine around minimising the number of times I have to adjust the bench.Overall, I'm really happy with this bench. It's been a great help to my training. I've been using it for 6 months now and there are no noticeable signs of wear and tear (maybe I should train harder). I would highly recommend this product!

This bench meets my needs and hasn't been a problem for me in any way. It feels somewhat sturdy and comfortable. It can be folded up to put away and doesn't take a ton of space. I am satisfied with the product after having it for a year.

I picked this up to replace a ProMaxima incline bench. It was just too heavy for my wife to move around and adjust.I disclose that because it's not really fair to compare the two. The ProMaxima is commercial grade incline adjustable bench, whereas this I would consider light residential grade for the following reasons:1. The vinyl covering over the bench is loose and thin. Being loose means it moves when under load and being thin will likely invite being torn in a short amount of time. A tighter and thicker covering material would ensure additional longevity. I fully expect to break out the duct tape in the future.2. The bench back itself is flimsy. I'm 6' 190 lbs and when under uneven light to moderate load (think dumbell work) it feels as if the backboard is going to rip off the narrow rectangular frame. This should have been widened to add stability to the backboard itself. In addition, the wood used for the bench back is thin, it feels like 0.25 or .375 OSB. Yes, I suspect it to be OSB, since an attempt to twist it, you hear the sounds of fibers separating like you would OSB. This would not be the case with thicker plywood or solid hardwood.3. The seat has similar issues and is too narrow on the end. Meaning, when doing decline work, to utilize the footholds requires my legs and knees to be completely together to ensure the back of my knees have support. Again, I'm 6' 190 lbs and would prefer to not put my own jewels in my own leg vise when doing decline work. A few inches wider seat would grant me that flexibility while still supporting behind my knees.4. Bench back incline/decline adjustment is sloppy. Like other adjustable benches, this is done by pulling a pin and allowing one square tube to slide within another to the desired angle. This bench has a plastic insert between the two tubes which is a soft flimsy plastic. What this does is then catch on it's way up or down, pulling the plastic insert out stopping progress entirely until shoved back in. This is a pain. I will likely troubleshoot this by adding lubrication, however a harder plastic that didn't friction grab the inside tube would have avoided this.On the plus side the base is sturdy from side to side and for the price does hold some value, at least to me. Fair warning though, be cautious if you do any heavy dumbell work or attempt L-seat dips on it, uneven pressure on sides of the bench back will likely be asking for trouble.Again, I am comparing this to my other bench which I had hoped to sell in lieu of this one. However, I will now be keeping both and plan to use this model for light work only to extend it's life.

When I ordered this product, there were no reviews, but the photo of the lady made me take a leap of faith. Note that is more like a 4.5 stars (check notes)Pros:All benches out there seem to have been made for men (taller people), I am short 5-1” and I wanted to buy something where I could have my feet on the ground. This bench has a good height and I can do that.It is sturdy, seems well made in terms of the structure, strong, and heavy. So far seems heavy enough that it may help it not to move it around... maybe on top of a foam may be accomplished, to avoid sliding. It is wide (as wide as my chest), I have read lots of complaints with other benches that they are 7in - 9in.The place where you wrap your feet moves, so adapts to one’s height.Generally it seems well finished. There is a handle to lock the seat and back positions.Fast and super easy to finish assembling it.It is easy to fold, or to set up but not necessarily to be moved around.Cons/problems:The actual product does not match the folded sample, see photo. The place where the feet holder seems quite awkward when folded and protrudes, in addition, I had to screw it with the legs, rather than in a supposed additional hole, which is missing.I wished it could stand up and stay that way, rather than laying flat for storage or against a wall. The seat’s sewing was off, so it looks wrinkled. It is heavy to move around and also difficult to lift, considering that the weight can be a positive thing too.So far I recommend it. I still need to use it.

When purchasing this weight bench I was concerned on the height from floor to top of bench as I couldn't find any real measurement in the description or the reviews but I decided to buy it based on the positive reviews. The bench is easy to put together. Just 5 bolts and it was ready to go. It also felt sturdy and had a little weight to it. It is definitely well made and seems it will hold up over time. The bench is 16 inches from floor to the top of the bench. I am 6'0 tall and find that I personally like this height. It allows me to get my feet planted when benching. I also find that I like how sturdy it really is. I do a lot of exercises that will push a lighter weight bench out from under you but this bench stays in place. The multiple positions of the bench are nice but I am adding two more holes for another incline position and a slight decline as the picture for the bench showed a decline hole position but this bench didn't have that. The handles that adjust the positioning for the back and seat are very sturdy and easy to use. I really like the fold up option as it is also easy to work with and allows me to put this away as living in an apartment, I don't have the room to keep it out all the time. When looking at this online, I was also concerned about the foot base for stability but I have had no issue with this. I have even placed weights under it to get a decline position and have not had one slip or issue.I am very pleased with this bench and glad I decided to purchase it.
