Once I took this out of my purse, the power pruner works great. The battery life is good, I have not ran out of battery during some light pruning of rose bushes. Just be aware that the battery charger is somewhat proprietary, or at least I do not have anything else that use this type of charger. This was not shown in the description, one star taken off. So don't lose the charger. Otherwise, it is a convenience tool.

I gave this as a gift to my sister who suffers from severe arthritis but still lives gardening. She called this morning to say what a game changer this pruner is. Great value and it put a smile on a loved one's face.

I needed something lightweight and easy to use to cut thicker flower stems and small flowering bushes. Additionally, as I have hand issues, it needed to work without much pressure on my fingers.This item was only so-so. It was compact and light enough with the battery to hold in one hand. I liked that the battery was small and fit into the tool, and not big and attached as I noted in other models.This said, the cutting function of this tool is excruciatingly slow. It would close and then pause after cutting before the blades opened. So I would have to hold my position and wait while the blades repositioned to fully opened and were ready to cut again. While this is good from a safety perspective, as an older adult, kneeling and holding back branches is tiring, and the time to complete a job is a factor.Additionally, the tool leaked oil all over my hand and the body of the tool. The oil was coming from the blade area within just a minute or two of trying it. I had only tested it on 3 small stems. I wiped the oil off, and tried again. The oil continued to leak.I returned this tool, in large part due to the oil leaking.

A little slow, but much better than those lop-weighted ones with the battery on the bottom. Weight is much better balanced and easier to use so I don't mind the weight. Got one for myself last year and it was a lifesaver getting rid of a mulberry bush/tree. Neighbor borrowed it and wants one. This one is for my sister. We both have mini chainsaws, but this is great for less thick branches that vibrate against the saw.

Bought a Scott’s brand which is identical design as this trimmer. Price was much higher. This brand much better price and this comes with extra blade.

I wish I had fond these years ago. I have a lot of shrubs and have to do a lot of trimming to keep them in control. This little jewel makes that task much easier. I always have hand pruners and then long handled pruners for the thicker branches. This one will handle over a half in branch in a breeze. It's also great for getting into the middle of a bush to cut down those pesky tree sprouts that keep popping up inside where you struggle to open the long handle pruners wide enough to get the blades around the tree. With these, you just reach in, the blades are already fully open, press the trigger and the job is done.The power level is suitable for most light to medium pruning tasks in the garden, making it a versatile tool for maintaining various plants. It even breezes through hardened dead branches. I struggle with some of them with the manual sheers, but these slice through without a hiccup.Battery Life and Efficiency: With a 2000mAh battery capacity, this pruner can perform over 600 cuts on branches with a diameter of 10mm (0.4 inch) on a single charge.
