I got this for my 8 year old great grandson to use when he visits me. It has been well used and being sturdy and reliable it is well appreciated. The read out and use was fairly easy for him once it was set upp and he was shown how to use it.

A quality device. It's exactly as described and easy to use. Very glad I purchased it. I originally ordered it for my rock collections, but I use it for many other things around the house and outdoors. It's amazing to view live insects. I also use it on my indoor and outdoor plants. Wow!!!

The battery in this product does not hold a charge. Fully charged it only worked for 10 minutes. Very disappointed. If this is all the better it works, I feel obligated to warn others not to buy this product. No way to replace batteries, useless product.

I love it when companies include everything you need so you can get going soon as you get it!I can't wait to use this to explore stuff with my three year old grandson! He loves to look closely at everything, so this is perfect. Plus afterward I'll give it up and let them use it for homeschooling all through the years. It won't be easy though, cuz I personally love taking photos of things magnified. It can make some amazing art!This is great for STEM or STEAM learning, in school 🏫 or homeschool. Or for coin or stamp collectors or lovers of science in general.

Need lot of light for good image…because of the strong magnification, very difficult to stabilize the image and after few minutes…it’s enough.The menu is Not very user friendly …With a bit a better camera and with magnification between 40x and 120x , it will be a great productNice try!

Pour le prix cette petite camera microscope a une bonne résolution et une image très correcte. J’avais pris le modèle wifi mais la différence de prix était trop importante, j’ai opté finalement pour la version simple quitte à sortir la carte sd de l’appareil pour récupérer les photos.En revanche niveau stabilisation c’est pas idéal. Évidemment à ce prix on ne peut pas exiger qu’il y ait un stabilisateur mais ce pour quoi cette camera est faite, c’est à dire partir a l’aventure et observer le monde miniature, c’est un peu compliqué. J’ai voulu prendre un petit insecte sur une feuille, certes il bougeait mais je n’ai jamais réussi à prendre une photo nette.A propos de la stabilisation, le support vendu avec le microscope n’est pas terrible du tout. Je préfère prendre mon trépied de table manfrotto beaucoup plus stable.Quoi qu’il en soit pour le prix on a un microscope très correct avec un écran de bonne qualité. Je recommande cet achat pour tous ceux qui ont des enfants et qui veulent leur montrer le monde miniature.

I'm quite impressed with the image quality on the camera. It has a very generous focal range, with fixed magnification, so if you want super zoomed in, you hold the item very close. If you need a moderate zoom, then hold it out 4 inches. The focus is smooth and holds position well.There's a separate wheel for the lights, which are decently diffused - I tend to not use the lights, as they wash out the item I'm looking at, and I would opt to light the item from the side to cast a shadow on the details and texture.I'm not a fan of the stand though. It's a bit tough to tighten and loosen adequately, and the range of motion on the final piece that attaches to the camera doesn't quite hit 90 degrees, so the camera doesn't sit perpendicular to the base of the stand. It also doesn't hold it's position rotationally, so it's just too easy for this thing to let go and let the camera swing around.The bad stand detracts from an otherwise good product. I think this is great for live inspection, picture taking, hobby and home education work, and light duty professional work.The included micro USB cable is 38.5 inches long. Made in China.

Our 12 year old absolutely loves this gift!! It's an easy microscope to use, and very portable! She has investigated everything from hair, fingernails, snowflakes, plant leaves, etc. Now our 7 year old wants one for her birthday!!
