The Apps to manage it need some work. They are a little confusing and seem to work differently on my Android, my iPad, and on my Mac.

By far the worst tracking system I have put on a vehicle. Installation is simple, obviously as it’s battery powered. This gps loses signal constantly, and for hours at a time. It thinks my asset is somewhere it was previously hours ago. Stopped. Driving. It doesn’t matter. I’ve moved the unit to various locations and with no success. There is no way I could reasonably expect to find my assets with this gps systems unreliable service. I’ll be sending in my return.

This is the second tracking device I’ve ever purchased and I love it! The first one I purchased had to have the batteries constantly recharged, it lasted two weeks at best. This LoneStar tracker uses lithium batteries and can last years without being changed out. The mobile app is very user friendly and easy to use. The monthly subscription is a decent price. I used this tracker inside of a car and did not use magnets. The customer service and technical support from this company is outstanding. They always answer their phones and always answer my questions and resolve my issues, even teaching me how to use the features on the app. I highly recommend this company and this tracker without any hesitation.

loaded 3 included batteries, tightened cover with 6 screws, put in car behind glove box, paid $15 online to activate for 1 month (autopay if not cancelled), drive around block to activate in 10 minutes, ; violla! car is tracked perfectly. there are 2 map screens in the app; one for current location (pretty much real time but they don't make that claim due to LTE cell coverage requirement), and the historical tracking map attached to review).Note; The case looks like the dry rubber seal would be perfectly waterproof with some silicone sealer smeared on it (i have used clear electrical silicone grease on these rubber seals on other products with great success).

Device does track BUT does not track real time, its off by 3 to 6 hours . I did try to get in touch with vendor about the issue, but No luck. Pretty easy to assemble and to set up the app for GPS Tracking. Very durable

I am in the high performance boating business and thieves go straight for the battery and look for the wire to cut and then follow the wire to the gps and toss it overboard or on the pavement and they are on their way. This product allows you to hide the unit so well it could take an hour or more to find if ever at all. Batteries last for months and the accuracy is great. I have tried many many units and by far this is my favorite. I bought a gabby for my kids car, battery life is not as good but it is very easy to hide.

My first review of this I was skeptical if this worked. It says in the ad that it only works if it has a clear view of the sky. But I put mine inside of my trailer so it’s hidden. At first it wasn’t tracking when it was parked so I thought it didn’t work. But we just took it on a 2.5 hour drive through the mountains and once it started moving, it was tracking the whole trip! So now I am pleasantly surprised that this tracking device works and I look forward to someone stealing my trailer again and catching them! I definitely did not want to put this on the roof for someone to see, it’s buried deep in the back of some cabinets so a thief is not going to find it before I find them!
