I bought this unsure if I needed it with my new Lowrance Hook Reveal 5. But I had to mount the splitshot transducer on the pontoon tube opposite from the console and the base cable came up a few feet short. This extension cable fit perfectly and the transducer works fine.It appears that this extension cable is compatible with other transducers - all of the pins are supported even though some, like mine, use only a handful of them.

Mated to OEM Simrad Cruise 5 transducer cable perfectly. 100% Plug and play on both male and female ends. Seals watertight too. Needed the extra length for routing to lower right outside of stern. Plenty long (10') for my needs. Recommend and would purchase again if needed!

Needed for a bow mount graph. Works as it should with the Hook Reveal Units.Cable only goes together 1 way and you'll know when it's seated as it will seat past the O-Ring.I do recommend after fully seating the cable to give it a wrap of electrical tape to make sure it doesn't loosen up on you as it is just a press fit.

Fine as long as you make sure it's plugged in the right way. It would be nice if they marked both pieces so you know when it is properly lined up.
