I am redoing a bathroom shower, and instead of buying multiple sheets of very expensive, water proof backing, choose to line the walls with this membrane.It is very durable, and easy to work with, so It does the same job for lower cost.It can be cut to fit easily, and the thickness is just right.It functions in the same way as the water proof backing board, for a fraction of the cost, since I can cut the length I need and it goes further with less waste.Very happy with it.

I recently took on a full bathroom remodel in our home and decided to use this Maxwave waterproof underlayment behind all of the tile. I'm happy with the decision.This product is excellent to mitigate long-term water damage, especially in moisture-heavy areas like bathrooms. Bought this to put under a deck that had been converted to living space (had concrete pad under part of it and dirt under the rest). It worked well as far as keeping the moisture out, but needed 3 layers to cover one section. I didn’t think I’d have enough to cover the whole dirt section, but I did and have plenty left over to cover under our camper.

I got this to use in my bathroom under the floor tiles. It is super easy to use and protects your subfloor from water damage. It is a great value for the money. It’s super durable and will last as long as my floor tiles.
