I bought this to use on a small project car instead of a boat. This works great. I attached it to my friends trailer and started to use it to tow the project car onto a trailer. There's two different gear selection and it's easy to switch between the two if you need more speed or torque.

Cheap Hardware. The bolts will rust in no time (ended up using my old Stainless set) and the nuts should be locking nuts but are not. The strap has me concerned that it will pop after a short time. Just installed and haven't used yet. Bolt pattern did not line up either.

Metoware winch was piece of junk! Went to put handle on crank and threads were stripped on bolt and nut! Completely useless!

This trailer winch is easy to operate and simplifies the process of hauling and loading. It appears to be well-constructed and offers ample pulling power for various small to medium tasks.
