An unlimited number of transmitters can be utilized by simply adjusting the code on the Remote to match your existing system. Garage door openers require the Universal Garage Door Receiver (RB709U-NB)

The two-button remote is an entry transmitter for GTO/Mighty Mule automatic gate openers. This convenient transmitter has a compact design that makes it easy to carry around in a purse, a pocket or on a keychain as well as on your vehicle visor. It comes with a 9-Volt battery and can be programmed to work on any GTO/PRO or Mighty Mule gate operator and the second button can work with either a second gate opener or a garage door opener (additional adapter required RB709U-NB).

THIS IS THE 8 SWITCH REMOTEThe instructions from mighty mule make it sound like it's a 9 switch, but it's only 8, so it was perfect for replacing my 10+ year old remote. Took 10 seconds to set it up, worked perfect from there.

Sirve de reemplazo para control de 1 botón (color gris con dip switch de 8), el mio tiene un detalle que al apretar bien los tornillos los botones se presionan o quedan a nada de activarse con un leve roce pero se pudo arreglar.Cuando lo compré se me hizo un precio razonable (500 mxn).

Update May 2018: I always like when people update their reviews after some experience with the product so I thought I would update. I've now had my opener for 4 years (no battery change yet) and my spouse has had the same style opener for 8 years with no problems at all. He changed his battery once in 8 years. This is an excellent product.Too bad the measurements are still wrong on this web page! I posted the exact measurements below and the photo above of the man holding the remote gives an idea of it's size.Originial Review: I just bought two of these remotes for our two old GTO gate openers but we've had another one of these remotes for several years. It works great. No malfunctions or breakage and we haven't had to change the battery yet.I don't know why the Amazon page doesn't give the correct dimensions. It's not easy to tell from the photo. The actual measurements are 1 3/8" wide, 2 1/4" tall, and 1/2" thick, not counting the visor clip which adds about another 1/2" to the thickness. In other words: small and very light, about the size of the car door opener/alarm key chain fob, but maybe larger than you might want hanging from your key ring. I have to think that some of the reviewers either bought by mistake or received by mistake the old style full-size large remotes because no way could this be described as a brick! It weighs 1.4 ounces (38 grams) with the visor clip and the key chain, either of which can be removed if you don't need them.The product description is also wrong about the battery. It does not take a 9-volt battery. It comes with a A23S 12 volt battery which is about 1/2 the length of a AAA battery. We have been using one of these daily for almost 4 years and haven't had to change the battery yet.Now that I have my own, my husband tells me that I probably shouldn't put it in my purse until I'm a block or so away from the house because it's very sensitive and might inadvertently open one of the gates.My only issue is the price. These remotes seem very expensive for what they are. I was tempted to try one of the cheap brands, but since I already knew that the GTO brand works with our gates and is good quality, I just bit the bullet and paid the price. I'd rather not mess with a cheap Chinese brand that may or may not work with our gates.
