This was a great option for me to utilise while I was away on vacation for over a week. My fish were fed twice a day and this worked great . Very pleased

I bought this feeder for a very small 5 gallons tank where only tiny fish and shrimps are living and I needed to leave the house for a week so I chose this model as it is capable of delivering small doses of powder food. I encounter 3 main issues.- 1) The screw holder is a bit flimsy on the retaining part (opposite to the screw) making the feeder leaning towards the tank if screwed a bit too tight thus hindering food delivery. I had to tighten the screw just enough so the feeder would remain horizontal and deliver perfect dose every time, otherwise, it would deliver a tiny fraction.- 2) The programer does not offer the possibility of feeding only twice a day during daylight, it is only a fixed count of hours 8,12, 24, 48, 72... I usually feed them around 9 am and 6 pm which cannot work there, so I limited the feeding to once every 24 hours during my absence, which is better than nothing and does not pollute the tank, but still... that would be awesome to set 2 feedings spaced by 8 or 9 hours once a day.- 3) The user manual is 100% in Chinese which is completely wrong when you sell a product outside of the country it is made! Please provide a translated user manual, I had to use the automatic translation from a picture with my iPhone.TO end on a very positive note, this thing is incredibly silent, you cannot hear it running during feeding time, I had to keep my fingers onto it to feel the motor running when setting it up.

All lights are blinking and cannot do anything. Cannot choose time or amount of fish food at all. Totally waste of $21. I want my money back but the return period is passed.

I bought this so I could feel comfortable going away for a week knowing my Orandas would be fed. This was easy to set-up, gives out a proper amount of food, and super convenient to use.

I've been looking for a feeder that I can use over extended trips and have tried a few before landing on this one. The portions are consistent and the amount of food that can be stored is more than adequate for my smaller tank. I use flakes and the feeders that use a tumble mechanism tend to clog up on my & the ones with individual compartments were limited by the number of days that I could use them. The Algado solves the problem by providing a larger bin for the food with a sliding door dispensing operation.The main reason for writing the review is because some reviews mentioned the Chinese user manual. I tried many automatic fish feeders for my classroom betta fish. This is the only one that worked as it should. It does let out more food than I would like, but it work as described.

It works but the instructions that comes with it is in Chinese so I just had to figure out how it works

I love this feeder for my small (5 and 10 gallon) tanks but it releases too much food, even at the smallest portion, to feed just one betta. I have one on a betta tank that also houses some rasboras, snails and shrimp and it's perfect! I also have one on each of my 10 gallon community tanks and they are perfect.
