Wouldn't work with my trolling motor out of the box. My previous foot controller had shorted out. I use my remote controller instead, without a problem. I didn't want to chance mess up the remote trying to get this foot pedal to work.

This has been the best purchase along with my Minn Kota terrova. I have the remote controller but this made bass fishing out my bay boat much easier.

Super simple set-up ( basically none , just plug it in and begin to use ) . It will take a little practice but it operated flawlessly and much more convenient than the remote control that uses a hand , now both hands are for my fishing pole . It does not however make me a better catcherman 🙄

My new pedal controller works fine. The original one only lasted two years. We’ll see how long this one last. 🤞

I have a riptide terrova i-pilot (not the link) and got kinda tired of having to stop reeling to make small adjustments with the remote. So i wanted to get the foot pedal and be hands free. I like that it has both heel/toe and left/right buttons for the same controls depending on which you prefer. It seems well made and sturdy. I will update this review if i experience any issues.
