I build miniature doll houses and cutting 1/12 scale trim and mountings is easy peasy with this tool! I have two sizes, this one and it’s smaller sibling. My only complaint is the angle bar moves when trying to cut at times, like it’s loose, which can really mess up an angle at that scale!

I had a similar cool years ago but lost it. This one is cheap and made cheap. Don't expect to cut with any accuracy. The metal is cheap and will bend easy as well as the blade went dull after just a few uses. It will not cut any thing but cheap plastic trim. If you are wanting to cut anything other than plastic forget it the blade will go dull and the handles will bend if you try and put any thing more than slight pressure on them to cut. Save your money and buy an upgraded pair.

I thought they would be of better quality of metal. All the crafters on YouTube are using them and they must have bought a more expensive pair elsewhere. The metal is cheap and I cannot see this blade going thru anything too thick.

The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is my fault actually. I am cutting 1/2 shoe molding and the blade will not cut molding that thick. I should have looked at the specs more carefully. I still made it work, I just have to cut twice.

I have reviewed this already but after using it for a couple of weeks, WOW! I have used it to cut popsicyle sticks, dowels and narrow molding. It makes this a quick and easy task, saves getting out the "big saw". Any kinda of soft wood goes like a dream, the mitre function is pretty accurate and much faster and more accurate than scissor cutting popsicyle sticks. Must have tool for crafters.
