This cordless hedge and grass trimmer is extremely lightweight, easy to use, and works well. I've used it to much delight to trim the tops of small bushes--the hedge trimmer is wide enough to do an excellent job of flattening to tops and clipping stray leaflets. I've also used the grass trimmer to smooth out some areas where my lawn mower missed some spaces and also in the difficult to reach areas when I didn't want to take the time to use my regular, heavier trimmer. Charging is a breeze using standard USB-A cable/charger (cable included). Blades are easy to swap out and come with plastic safety sleeves to store them in. This is a recommended item.

This is a nice little rechargeable hand-held clipper for trimming grass and hedges. It can be recharged by plugging it into any USB-C adaptor, which I consider to be a real plus. I’ve misplaced many proprietary chargers over the years, rendering different cordless tools useless. Given the ubiquity of USB charging blocks and cables, I don’t think I will ever have that problem with this device.I didn’t test how long it takes to fully charge this device, at least partly because I wasn’t able to fully drain it with the yard work I needed to do. But it seemed to me to charge relatively quickly. There is a red LED that signals when the device is being charged and then it turns green when charging is complete.The cordless design makes this clipper easy to maneuver, and it is lightweight. I did find the necessity to keep the safety switch depressed eventually caused my arm to get tired—but I think this safety is required by law, and even if it isn’t, it is a useful feature to have.The clipper worked well on Honeysuckle branches up to about a quarter inch in diameter, as well as on several other kinds of small hedge branches. (The listing states it will work on branches up to .3 inches thick, and though I think that may be a slight exaggeration, it undoubtedly depends on what you are cutting). I trimmed for about twenty minutes before my hand got tired and at this point the battery indicator light was still green, indicating that a good charge was left. (It turns yellow when the charge weakens and red when it is time to recharge).The trimming blades are easy to remove and exchange. However I did not try out the grass clipper blade, because grass would obviously be much easier to clip than quarter-inch branches. And getting down on my knees to cut grass is not something I can do easily, or would be likely to do often. Your physical condition and gardening needs may differ.

I FINALLY HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO USE THIS VERY HANDY CORDLESS GRASS CLIPPER. I WENT CAMPING THIS LAST WEEKEND AND CLIPPED SOME GRASSY SPACE FOR MY TENT & CAMPING AREA. I FULLY CHARGED THE CLIPPER BEFORE USING. (TOOK A LITTLE LESS THAN 2 HRS).I WAS A LITTLE IMPRESSED RIGHT AWAY AS THIS LITTLE POWERHOUSE WENT TO WORK. IT WAS CLIPPING FESCUE GRASS QUICKLY, CLEANLY & SOMEWHAT QUIETLY. IT WOULD CLIP AS QUICKLY AS I COULD GO WHILE IN A STOOPED POSITION. I CLIPPED FOR A GOOD 10 MINUTES OFF AND ON. I CLEARED ABOUT A 10'X15' AREA WHICH WAS PLENTY FOR MY CABIN TENT. THE AREA I TRIMMED LOOKED SO GOOD YOU WOULD HAVE THOUGHT I USED A LAWN MOWER. WHAT MADE IT SO EASY WAS HOW LIGHTWEIGHT & COMFORTABLE THIS UNIT IS. THERE IS A THUMB SWITCH ON TOP OF THE GRIP THAT YOU SLIDE FORWARD (SAFETY) WHICH ALLOWS YOU SQUEEZE THE HAND TRIGGER & OFF TO THE RACES YOU GO. YOU DO NOT NEED TO HOLD THE SAFETY SWITCH DOWN WHEN TRIMMING. WHEN YOU DO RELEASE THE HAND TRIGGER, IT SHUTS OFF. THEN REPEAT THIS PROCEDURE EACH TIME YOU WANT TO KEEP GOING. I MUST HAVE USED IT AN ADDITIONAL 10 MINUTES OR SO OVER THE NEXT FEW HOURS WITHOUT SKIPPING A BEAT OR LOSING POWER.THE VENDOR CLAIMS THE BATTERY WILL LAST UP TO 30 MINUTES, WHICH IS PLENTY OF TIME. I CAN'T IMAGINE ANYONE NEEDING MORE TIME THAN THAT PER OUTING. I HAVEN'T USED THE HEDGE TRIMMER PART YET, BUT I WOULD NOT BE SURPRISED THAT IT WORKS WELL TOO.OVERALL I REALLY LIKE THIS TRIMMER. IT CUTS QUICKLY & CLEANLY. THE BLADES STAYED SHARP, THERE WAS NO JAMMING OR HESITATION PROBLEMS AT ALL. THIS IS PERFECT FOR MY PURPOSES AND I FULLY APPROVE. TWO THUMBS UP.

I live in a ground floor apartment with a little patio and garden, so I have a small amount of yard work to keep up with. Other that maintaining the flowers I have planted, that yard work consists mostly of weeding and trimming back overgrowth of shrubs and vines, as well as this tiny patch of grass. This little trimmer is perfect for my situation— I was able to trim the entirety of my roughly 50 sq. ft patch of grass in a just few minutes. I was worried it would be loud but it’s not bad at all— definitely will never need to wear ear protection. It cuts well, the only limitation being due to its small size, but for that same reason it’s also good for getting into tight spots so it’s a trade off. I also really appreciated that the user manual was well written with no spelling or grammatical errors— which is rare these days. The manual says that it should take 2 hours to fully charge and you should get 30 minutes of run time, and with light duty/intermittent trimming I was able to use it for at least that long. My only complaint would be that holding the trigger button in the on position takes a toll on my hands/wrists when using it for longer spurts— but that is a safety feature and, I imagine, is pretty standard for all power cutting tools. Even still, it doesn’t hold a candle to the strain I experience from using manual garden shears to do the same job, so I’m happy! All this to say: if you have mild hand/wrist/gripping issues I would say that this is definitely a LOT more comfortable than manual shears, and as long as you take frequent breaks you should be totally fine. It also doesn’t vibrate too intensely and is surprisingly lightweight— I was a pet groomer for many years and gripping the clippers vibrate much more than this little guy.. Would recommend to anyone, but especially to those who have a smaller yard to maintain.
