I wanted to be able to play sports games in every room of the house, with everything being in sync. If I streamed the game from each TV separately, they would never be in sync. This allows me to stream the games from one source (my Apple TV 4K) to all TVs in the house, while keeping everything in sync. I haven't been able to get Dolby Vision to work yet, but it's probably just a setting I need to change.

Simply Magic. The unit works great at distributing a 4k signal over cat6 cable, which is probably one of the easiest cables to pull yourself. It's quite cool to have all displays in sync. The one thing that would make this product 6 stars would be a switch for 4k to 1080p scaling at the client end. I have some older TVs that cannot take a 4k signal, so I'm forced to choose between sending 4k to all and getting a couple of downscalers, or 1080p to all displays. Also, the support team was great at resolving an issue I had initially with the purchase.

Purchased the 1x8 splitter/extender to wire up my 3 new Epson projectors that have HDbaseT receivers built in. Orei support told me that it doesn't work with all projectors. I ended up using the Orei receivers on all my devices and just connecting through HDMI. All seems to work well and have a great picture. The receivers seem to run a little warm, but not overly hot. The fan on the transmitter is a little loud. Louder than a PC, but quieter than the fans on my old projector. Overall I am happy with it and would probably purchase it again.

Using these for the past couple months in a conference centre and they are so easy to use. Definitely worth the purchase. Fraction of what others ask for. It’s definitely DIY as well.

The 8x8 HDMI Extender Matrix is great...when it works. Often times, when switching between inputs, especially when a resolution/format change is involved, the output will get stuck on static. This can usually be resolved by switching between inputs several times, which is understandably very annoying.I've seen this across multiple TVs, so unfortunately it does seem like the matrix is to blame. When it works, it works great. When it doesn't, it requires quite a bit of fiddling. For a product at this price point, I had expected much more.

Installed 7 outputs so far. It was much easier to run CAT6 cable than HDMI cables from the hub to each TV. Setup was easy. Have been running without hiccups for over 4 months ago. Currently I’m using the matrix to distribute a common DVD player selectively to each TV as well as my security camera system.

Blurry text when using 4k@60Hz profiles. Dropping to 4k@30Hz resolves text issues and looks quite good, but has the laggy feeling that 30Hz brings.Working with support to figure this out.Update:Support was responsive and helped me through getting 4k@60hz working.s cat 0 dsc mode 2!s edid in 0 from 28!Ended up having to use 2x hdmi ports from an RTX 3080 + 1x hdmi port from onboard graphics. The hdmi->dp dongles were causing problems.

Purchased this unit to extend scoring stations at our Indoor Race Track. Set up was very intuitive basically Plug and Play, extended our computer display to four stations around our track up to 100 ft away. Highly recommended.

Very happy with this matrix. I needed it my motorhome to distribute signals to the 3 tv's. Had to have it professionally installed as I wasn't comfortable with doing it myself. It works perfect.Highly recommend

UPDATE2: Received new replacement receiver. This seller came through!UPDATE: After an email exchange with the manufacture the failed unit will be replaced. Thanks for the communication.Purchased the 1x8 HDMI Extender Splitter June of 2022 and installed five of the receiver units when the product arrived. We held off on installing the sixth unit as we were doing a kitchen remodel where the sixth was to be installed. Once the remodel was completed it was installed but this was after the warranty period expired. After 2 months the unit failed. The picture would go black then back to normal and repeat. I swapped it with one of the original installed units and the problem stayed with the unit. So after two months of use the unit is defective.Even though it sat new in the box until it was installed and in use for only 2 months the seller will not replace it.Bottom line the seller will not stand behind their product that was in use for 2 months and went bad.Poor policy. Buyer beware!

I've been through four or five different manufactures for a basic HDMI setup. I have two LCD's in the office. I need to take the signal from our (satellite) PVR and send that over RJ45 cables already installed. This device went in and has caused zero issues. Previously, I have' had other HDMI extenders and HDMI splitters, but nothing that every lasted. So far, 4+ months in and they are working exactly as I had hoped - I'm extremely happy!
