This looks exactly like advertised once together. It’s not difficult to assemble but the whole thing is a little too flimsy to install in the ground if you have hard ground or it’s started freezing.

This is so fun! Maybe because we got our first snowfall of the season shortly after I put the snow gauge in the ground. Our first snow fall measured 1 foot aka 12 inches! The snow gauge is 20-25 feet from our window and can be read easily, especially with the white background of snow. Our ground is rock so I had a little problem getting it into the ground. but I managed. It did seem to rock side to side a little so I'm waiting to see if it will continue to stand straight up. It would be much easier going into dirt. It does require assembly and comes with nuts, bolts and a small wrench. It's a cute item and the price point seems fair.

This is a well made metal snow gauge that’s was super easy to put together and install. It comes in 3 parts with 8 bolts and nuts to hold them together, 4 each. It also comes with a small screw driver and flat wrench, but the nuts can be hand tightened and then use a normal screw driver to tighten fully. The moose is well painted on both sides, and the entire thing feels pretty sturdy once put together. I’m quite happy with it.

I'm in New England and we can get quite a bit snow. I thought this snow gauge would be a riot to use as I have friends/relatives down south. If we get a good snow fall I love to send them photos. This makes it even better b/c they will clearly see how many inches. It is very well made and is not a plastic item. It is heavy and solid. Will stand up to the New England weather. I love it and can't wait to be able to use it.

I had gotten one of these last year, and I broke it putting it in the ground. This one looks great, and it seems plenty sturdy. I'm excited for the snow to start flying so I can test it out! I can't speak to the quality of this as far as lasting in the weather, but it sure seems like it's not going to rust or fall apart. Will update once it's been out in the weather if it changes.
