This board doesn't fit my PCIe slot. It has too many pins. I have four other PCIe board that fit fine. Not sure what this is for, but I'll be returning.

Ich habe die Karte gekauft, um meine DAS (USB-Festplatte) mit 10GBit/s anzusteuern. Die Karte sorgt dabei alle paar GB für Verbindungsabbrüche. Eine Datensicherung ist somit nicht möglich. Die angegebene Geschwindigkeit habe ich gefühlt nicht annähernd erreicht, wobei ich das nicht labortechnisch messen kann.**Korrektur** Nachdem ich nun eine 80€ teure Karte gekauft habe musste ich feststellen, dass mein DAS scheinbar die Probleme bei 10GBit/s bereitet. An meinen USB 3.2 Ports mit 5GBit/s habe ich keinerlei Probleme, aber sobald ich die 10GBit/s nutzen möchte, kommt es zu den Abbrüchen (obwohl das USB-Gehäuse von QWC ausdrücklich für 10GBit/s ausgelegt ist). Somit war die hier bewertete Karte nicht schuld.

I installed it on my old computer that runs fine with Ubuntu and I had no issue. everything work as expected.

Once setup it has been VERY fast and does what I wanted.200 + speeds over usb c to c enclosure.

- AMD motherboard (Gigabyte B550 AORUS ELITE AX V2)- Windows 11 Proinstalled easily. all ports working, and providing power. windows automatically detected and installed all drivers. all ports easily accessible in this horizontal layout.I heeded the warnings & avoided other similar products with more ports in a vertical orientation, that said ports can be partially obstructed by the rear PCI panel rails on case. not the case at all here with this horizontal design, it's all good.I've tested it with every port in use simultaneously, and have had no problems with multi-device communication or power. so I'm pretty satisfied and it works as advertised. it's nice to have some more on-board USB-C ports in particular.

Card was added for additional USB-C ports on an Asus Z690 Aorus Elite AX DDR4. During Macrium image backup, USB-C on the card delivered an amazing sustained data rate of 5.3Gb/s to a Samsung T7 external SSD.No manual driver installation since Win 10 recognizes the Asmedia chipset on the card.So far, this has delivered everything we were looking for in USB-A/C 3.2 expansion card.

I bought this cable thinking it would work for my quest link cable and it refuses to connect through the usb-c ports. It sends power but doesn’t transmit a signal. I did read the troubleshooting part if the manual that was included and they didn’t say anything at all about the ports signal degrading with any cable over 1 meter (3 Feet). For this reason i’m giving it a 1 star and a waste of money really for anyone since most cables are pretty long these days.

Installed in November and worked until mid March. Mac Pro 5,1 sees the card but attached drives will not maintain a connection. Support site listed on Amazon gives me a 404 error. The seller chatted through Amazon and honored the warranty.

J'ai acheté cette carte pour ses bonnes caractéristiques de transfert, et pour cela, elle répond bien à mon besoin initial.Les deux port USB-C complètes parfaitement celui de ma carte mère... et sont tous employés.Les ports USB-A étant identiques à ceux de ma machine, ils ne me sont donc pas immédiatement nécessaires.S'il faudrait racheter une autre carte, je pense qu'il faut plutôt prévoir 3x USB-C et 2x USB-A... ceci afin de prévoir le raccordement à un hub haute performance.Ce n'est pas du thunderbold, mais la carte est vraiment pas mal (et les périphériques thunderbold ont tendances à être... assez onéreux).

Tyvärr måste jag skicka detta pci-e kort i retur eftersom det inte fungerade alls att ”mata ut” (eject) anslutna USB-hårddiskar (bl.a. Western Digital Elements USB 3 5 GB och Sandisk sticks). Varje gång man försökte mata ut hårddisken eller en flashdrive fick man ett meddelande på engelska i Windows 10 (och även i Windows 11): ”Windows can’t stop your ’Volume device’ because a program is still using it. Close any programs that might be using the device, and the try again later.” Men så var inte fallet. Jag testade på alla möjliga sätt I tvådagar innan jag gav upp. Windows kunde lista och läsa alla filer på hårddisken och den kopplade upp vid start av Windows och vid anslutning till en USB-port på kortet (både till USB3.2 och USB C portar). För att kunna göra en ’säker utmatning’ var man tvungen att inaktivera drivrutinen och sedan boota om Windows 10. Efter ”reboot” och aktivering åter av drivrutinen gick USB-hårdisken att mata ut på sedvanligt sätt. Men så kan man inte hålla på. En sak att påpeka var att i Windows Explorer fanns ingen ”Eject” med i menyn i likhet med som om den USB-anslutna hårddisken var en fast hårddisk. Eject finns alltid i med i Windows Explorer för USB-hårddiskar. Var felet ligger är svårt att säga. Kanske i drivrutinen, i PCI-E kortet eller t.o.m. kanske i moderkortet men datorn har fungerat perfekt i alla år jag haft den. På moderkortet finns fungerande USB 2 och USB 3 portar där Eject fungerar normalt. Moderkortet har 2 st. PCI-E 2x och 2 st PCI-E 16x ’slottar’. Synd att inte kortet fungerade och måste returneras.

I wanted to give this a 4 star but I had to verify it so I tested this on 4 different machines in my lab. to make sure that my findings were correct. I tested this in 2 x HP Z620 workstations (using both PCIe2.0 and PCIe3.0), My Threadripper 2950x Second Gen System (using PCIe 3.0) and my last system AMD 5900x (Using PCIe 4.0) Below are all my findings. for context I am a content creator and a programmer along with just a person who loves tech. So having this device has a ton of uses for me but just like all things Tech especially at this price its never perfect.-Pros-The ports all worked and the fact it gives you 2 USB C and 3 USB A ports-The Slim Form factor-Easy to install with default drivers that Windows 10 and 11 can recognize.-Cons- 1 of the USB- C and 1 of the USB A ports are actually recognized as USB 3.2- PCI Bracket is slightly longer than the standard slot it had to be forced into all my towers and the end bent in a little bit but not that big of an issue- Not sure if it is just the one I have but 2 of the USB A ports would disconnect after a long period of use. When I would be transferring large files through USB A ports 1 and 2 they would disconnect after 20 to 30 mins of transfer but then work again after a few mins. but Port 3 and the main USB C port closest to the end of the PCB would work without issues.
