This Pellet Grill Controller Angle Mount is a game-changer for my Traeger Silverton 620! It provides the perfect viewing angle for the D2 controller, making it so much easier to adjust the settings while grilling. The sturdy design keeps it securely in place, and the improved accessibility is a huge plus. If you own a Traeger and want to enhance the functionality and convenience of your grill, this mount is a must-have accessory!

Great addition to the Traeger grill. Makes it easier to see all the functions of the Traeger controller.

I installed this on my Traeger Ironwood 650 and turned it on to throw a couple of steaks on. When I went out to turn them over, I saw that the top and left side had already melted. I like the idea of a slanted mounting plate for the controller, but a plastic one is definite Not the way to go. Looking for a metal one instead.

Installed easily in my Ironwood 885. Extra screws are included if you want to install all new hardware or you can reuse the screws you removed to take off the control panel in step 1. Makes it much easier to see the display and no longer have to squat down. Great option and definitely recommend getting it!

An angled controller display should have been designed and installed by Traeger. The monochrome vertical display is low and small. This mount makes a tremendous difference when reading the display and adjusting controls. Granted, you will probably use the Traeger app on your cell phone / tablet most of the time during operation but when standing in front of the Ironwood 885, you can just glance down instead of bending way over. Note: The head of one of the supplied screws twisted off during installation.

If you really wanted to use this, you'd have to drill out the screw holes on the Trager panel, open up the whole hopper area to access the inside, then screw on the unit from the back. After that, the holes line up fine with the original panel, but I'm not willing to destroy my original install just for this piece. Even if you had a Lilliput screwdriver, the holes to mount to the grill are too small for the screws and would have to be drilled out. Not well thought out at all.

The angle is nice but installing it wasn’t the easiest thing I’ve ever done. Once I removed the 4 screws holding the D2 controller I took pictures to make sure I knew where all of the connectors went. I then put on the mount and had a hard time getting the bottom screws to go in all the way. You don’t have a straight shot to the screw head so you really couldn’t get a good bite on the head. Once I had it mounted I then had to connect all of the wires. Most were easy but some of the wires really weren’t long enough to easily reconnect. I got them all connected and with some struggle I got the D2 screwed on and tested it. Everything seams to be working so all in all I’m happy but just know it is going to take some effort to mount it.

I love this! No more bending over to read my Traeger WiFire D2 grill controller. This add-on controller mount angles the controller perfecrly upward so you can read it clearly standing up. Fit perfectly, was easy to install, looks like a stock Traeger part not tacky. Traeger should put this on all their grills !Great product!
