Philco was always a reliable manufacturer forsmall electronics but I question that lately.I purchased this mostly for audio books on CD & occasionally radio.Sound is crisp & clear & easy enough to carry.Changing discs easy except when starting to reprogram to play.Buttons bunched too close & small ....could be easier, and I have small fingers!Also had to replace the electric cord because plastic coating cracked near the plug just 3 months after purchase and difficult finding another that stays tight enough in place. Universal cords fall out and needs to be taped to keep in place in order to operate player at all.Manufacturer not helpful enough when I contacted them for guidance, or even offer a new plug.So now others see a new but botchy taped Philco product! Guess they are ok with that?Battery use for disc's poor. New Duracell batteries nearly drained from listening to only 14 discs.After that, batteries unable to turn a disc to play, but still played radio well (for ??? a while I hope).Don't know how other manufactures compare and not eager at this point to purchase an upgrade product from this experience!Maybe if manufacturer actually took an interest, I would!But NO, not happy.

Radio, cd player, cassette all work. BONUS is it acts like a Bluetooth speaker! I use this for my kindle-Amazon music and move it from room to room when cleaning.

I love the Bluetooth feature! I can broadcast my music and classes so loud and clear. I also love the cassette player feature because I actually have cassette tapes that I have not been able to hear in years, and now I can play them! So nice!

Estupendo aparato que puede reproducir en viejos y nuevos formatos con una estupenda calidad de sonido. El único “pero” es que no tiene reloj y por tanto, no cuenta con un timer para encender/apagar.

The features works great, as they should, and the speakers sounds very nice for a portable stereo. I use this when I workout in my garage, I like being able to listen to my cds or cassette tapes and even the options for using the Bluetooth or Mp3...

Small, sound is okay. This is a CD player - featuring CD's - but the CD buttons are down on face of unit and are tiny compared to the huge Cassette buttons featured prominently on top of the unit. Bad design. Also, why no button to shut off bright blue function window at night while listening before sleep? Not impressed.

I would recommend this boom box for the price and quality of the boom box with the Bluetooth easily connected to my devices and sounds good 😊

This radio/CD player works great! Its easy to operate, the buttons are in good locations and the sound is good for its size. Have not tried the cassette or USB yet. Happy so for with this unit.
