I was shocked when I saw how small this little ruler is. It literally can fit in the palm of my hand. I really can't do much with it and I assumed it was going to be a full size angle measuring ruler. It is a miniature one and I cannot think of anywhere I would use such a small tool.

In my 50+ years of working with tools and wood, I have had many occasions of needing to transfer my cut marks from one side of a piece of lumber, to the adjoining side. This has always relied on "eyeballing" it. While this is sufficiently accurate, it takes a bit of time, and the fact that it is always a tiny bit "off" is a bit of a nuisance. With this tool, problems solved. I can now easily scribe two sides of a piece of lumber at once, and do it with precision! It is marked in metric and I am in the US, but that's fine.
