In my experience gaffer tape sticks better and holds longer than most other kinds of tape despite its purpose being to temporarily hold things in place. Polyken is now my go-to.

I use this glue for binding new and used books, it sticks well, and is also easily cut by hand without the need for a knife or something sharp to cut. Suitable for book binding.

I bought this to provide protection for the edge guard of my pickleball paddle. The tape is thicker than electrical tape and at 1" wide covers a 16mm thick paddle with just a little wrapping around the face of the paddle. It holds up to scuffs and scrapes against the outdoor hard courts much better than electrical tape. It does add slightly more weight that electrical tape though. If you're looking for edge tape for a paddle definitely consider this for the price over pickleball specific edge tape.

This is good tape. Nothing fancy, but it works how it's supposed to. I use it to tape labels onto bulletin boards and storage totes, and the tape is very easy to pull off afterwards. It doesn't leave any residue for me.

Great tape for positioning or retaining things.- Very reliable and consistant hold. Much better hold than painter's tape, and even better than most duct taped. The adhesive is more aggressive than most other gaffer's tapes.- No residue. Easily reposition on carpet, wood, metal, painted items, etc. (However, it will damage paper products and cardboard if you try to pull it off).- Heat resistant. The adhesive doesn't slip when exposed to the sun, unlike most duct taped I have used.

This tape is decent but compared to most other gaffer's tapes it is harder to tear (closer to duct tape) and harder to pull off. When pulling it off it typically doesn't leave much residue but takes much more force than others. I'll pick another brand next time. If you need very-strong but hard-to-remove tape, this would work well though, especially for the price/performance ratio.

Excelente precio para ser Polyken, el pegamento parece ser algo débil, pero es mejor tener dos tipos de cintas para no maltratar los pequeños dispositivos en los que se usa.

I have been using this tape for a while now. Its primary purpose is to temporarily secure equipment and cables to walls, floors, etc. The tape is strong, and I trust it to hold my tripod and camera in some precarious positions. The best part is that the tape comes off clean. I have not had to clean up any residue. And like another reviewer, I use it to cover the brand and model marking on my equipment. The 3 inch width tape is good for long cable runs across a floor where there will be foot traffic.

The product comes in a plastic bag. The product weighs 15 oz is 6 3/16 in diameter, and is 1 inch width. The product looks like black masking tape that is much thicker than masking tape. The tape tears easily by hand or scissors. It is very sticky and when stretched it doesn't stretch easily or at all. This is my first experience with gaffer tape so I'm not sure what to expect.I've used duct tape for many unlikely things but this tape I can see will work much better at holding things in place without leaving residue. It seems stronger than duct tape and is just as sticky but it seems easy to remove even from newspaper with minimum damage. In the past I used duct tape but it does leave too much residue and can stretch easily so this could be a good replacement for that.I decided to test the tape under some extreme conditions to see what would happen. Scotch tape, electrician tape, duct tape will all fail theses tests. I placed a section of tape in a bowl of water and wondered what effect it would have and was surprised that the tape when blotted dry with a paper towel on both sides still had the same stickiness and tensile strength. So it would appear it could be used outdoors too. My freezer test was less surprising ...it did not maintain its stickiness below zero. The tape once removed from the zero conditions returned to its original sticky state. So its use in winter like outdoor conditions maybe limited. The section of tape i used for testing still is sticky and usable.I'm unsure if the tape has a life expectancy like duct tape which deteriorates over time. Time will tell. Is this tape as good as some of the other premium tapes? I don't know the answer but in my limited use this tape seems to work for my purposes and seems like a very good value.
