Bought these filters hoping they would remove the yellow colour when filling my hot tub they did nothing and also plugged up very quickly to the point where barely any way would flow DO NOT BUY ITS CRAP!!!!

Love this easy to use hose filter to help remove all the sediment and debris from our well water before refilling the spa aka hot tub. The water quality after using this is so good I hardly have to put any chemicals in my spa!! Worth the investment!

We have very hard well water. We use this on our hose when we fill our pool or hot tub and it is fantastic. You do have to run water through it before each 1st time use. If you notice low flow check for clogging in the screen, clean it out and reattach.

Not worth the cost for me didn't work good at all..At the rate this things going in photo be next year before I get 8000 gallons..Not worth the cost or time!Customer service for them was decent at least. Provided refund.

I use the PoolPure water filter for my swimming pool. I do have a permanent water outlet for my pool but noticed a couple of rust spots in my pool. I since have been using PoolPure filter at my hose to fill my pool to keep the metals in the water from staining my swimming pool. I have been doing this for nearly 2 years now.

Used this to fill my hot tob as we have well water with high iron concentration. This thing is amazing, the water is clear and there is no iron deposit in sight. It works so well at filtering minerals that the ph was actually too low. Will buy again.Just be careful when the first splash of water comes out of the filter, it was black. My hot tub is white so I had to flush the first gallon of water that came out. Wish I had known.

Bought this to fill a 4545 gal pool using well water.It helped to reduce some of the water hardness, but it certainly did not fix filter it 100% was my initial thoughts.I dumped 4 gallons of liquid chlorine. The pool looked nasty. The next day I added one pouch of HTH sock it, and some Aquarius stain remover.The next morning, the pool was clear and I backwashed.Last year, after opening in a similar manner, the bottom of the pool was filled with rust that had to be vacuumed to waste. Barely any is visible this year.I will be ordering and using these every year from now on!

Used both of these to fill up a 5000 gallon pool, so 2500 gallons each ran through. Previous filters I had bought from a different brand, I would shock the pool after and have no issues. After filling my pool with these filters and shocking, the entire pool turned brown. The metal oxidized and now I have a mess to clean. Pool filter is ruined, chemicals wasted and now I have to drain and clean the pool. This was a very expensive lesson learned. Do not buy these. Get the good brands. These are cheap and do not do as advertised.

We have hard well water and heavy in iron. Worked amazing. We went through a bunch of these filling and topping our pool off throughout the summer. You could tell when you were coming to the end of the life of the filter. It would be a lot heavier and flow would be very minimized. Highly recommend.

2 filters for $50 is a good deal. The filters both worked, however, one filter worked with no change to the water flow, the other filter worked considerably slower. Using two hoses and two filters I filled the hot tub in under an hour.

I used this to fill our new swim spa so that there was no high mineral or iron levels from the get go. Our water had perfect readings nothing high or out of whack without having to add a bunch of chemicals . Since these are supposed to be good for 8,000 gallons I left mine on the end of the hose to refill the swim spa as needed. I do flush the hose and filter by shooting the water into the dirt first before adding water to the pool. But I have had no unwanted guck come out and I have been using it for a few weeks. Our water has tested right within range from the get go. If you are having trouble with alkalinity, pH or iron make sure you use filtered water when adding water to your spa or pool.
