Just as expected if not better, this works great it's quiet easy to use. I use it for the basement and does a great job every time.

I really like the fact that this sump pump is made of stainless steel. This makes it more durable, and it can stand up to frequent moving and transporting under various weather conditions. It has a good flow, but only drains down to just over 2 inches

Very nice and sturdy sump pump. It was way too big for what I needed it for but it has a great capability of displacing a lot of water. It is very heavy and well-made!

This pump was such an upgrade from our old, flimsy plastic pump! I really appreciate the solid metal design, which makes it feel like it will last a good long while. It pumps very effectively and powerfully. We had a moment where a hose slipped lose (a user error issue on our end) and the pump running on its own had a strong enough stream that it walked several feet and coiled its power cable around itself. We definitely will be much more careful with attaching the hose securely! It has no issues with getting choked on leaves, like our old pump, and pumps a large quantity of water very quickly. I am very happy with this pump and would recommend it.

We've seemed to have an abundance of torrential downpours of rain all spring long, so that means a flooded basement for My house.__This sump pump has a 1 HP motor making the water pump out at a super fast rate. The listing gave the pump rate as 4000 gallons per hour which I have no way of measuring, but I can attest to the fact that it does pump really quickly__I love that it feels substantial. Whether it matters that a submersible pump has a stainless steel housing or one made of plastic might not even matter but to me I think it will last longer since the bolts rivets are attached to the metal housing rather than plastic which tends to crack over time__The raised base makes sense to me versus one which sits directly flush to the floor or what ever surface it will set upon, as sediment will be more likely to stop at that base. I hope that makes sense. However, having experience with dealing with flooded basement issues many times, I have found it wise to sit the pump into a makeshift wire basket to prevent good sized debris from being sucked into the pump. This pump creates an incredible amount of force and that is logical given the full 1 HP capacity, so creating a barrier helps to keep the pump in good working order by no allowing large debris to be sucked up. IMO__BOTTOM LINE: I am very pleased with the choice of this pump and do recommend its purchase

What I love most is that it handles debris like leaves without any issues, unlike my previous pump. It quickly removes large quantities of water, which is exactly what I needed for my space. The stainless steel construction not only looks great but also ensures it will last through heavy use without rusting. Overall, this sump pump has exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it to anyone needing a reliable solution for water removal!

This pump puts out a lot of water through a 1" line and is solidly built. My only faults are that the "debris shield" will still let large enough chunks or rocks to get in and possibly damage the impeller. If I were to use this in a rough spot, I'd wrap with some mesh.Second fault is that the description says it will pump down to 1/8" - I don't see how as I measured the inlet of the pump at 3" from the ground. I didn't test to that level, but I've never known a pump to create so much vacuum that it can pull water 2 7/8" away. May be so, but I didn't try.So, the star reduction is for those two items.
