I have the kitchenAid glass m8xing bowl. This is the only shield that I have found that fits it. It sits nicely on the rim. I used it the other day when I made buttercream icing and for the first time there was more powder sugar in the bowl than was on me or the counter. I highly recommend this product.

This shield fits well on my 5 quart KitchenAid Artisan. It’s so easy to put on and to remove. It does a good job of keeping the mess confined to the bowl. It’s lightweight, yet well made, and it’s easy to clean.

This is my 3rd try to find a shield to keep contents IN my mixer bowl and OFF of everything else in my kitchen. The first one didn’t stay put, therefore sending clouds of flour where flour did not belong. The second SNAPPED tightly to the bowl, but the snaps were compromised over a 12 month period, and I then again had clouds of flour where flour did not belong. This magnificent gadget truly gets the job done! It sits sturdily atop my bowl rim and fits perfectly. The chute which shields the room and funnels the flour is quite amazing. You need to practice attaching it to the shield before your first use, but this little funnel is easily removed and replaced as I add ingredients, and there is no loss of ingredients ANYWHERE. For a home cook who loves to share with friends and family, this little gadget has been a true blessing. Thanks, Amazon, for adding this to a long list of helpful products. Well done!

I use this on my Kitchen Aid stand mixer when making my sugar cookies and royal icing. If you’re a baker, you know how messy flour and powdered sugar can get. This does a good job at keeping the majority of the “cloud” in the bowl and limits my cleanup time after the fact.It’s easy to install, just slide the larger piece around the rim of the bowl and attach the pour guard. I will say that I wish the fit was more secure, maybe having some sort of locking mechanism to keep it from rattling on the bowl. I also wish there was some sort of plug or cover for the pour guard, because some of the powdered sugar does tend to rise out of it.It’s relatively durable though and does its job. Compared to the actual KitchenAid accessory, your overall value for your money is good. You get what you pay for :)
