I ordered to try this out because I've been considering getting something for my desk to hold my keyboard/mouse and clear some desk space now that I have added a laptop alongside my desktop computer. The keyboard tray itself comes in two pieces, and requires minimal assembly. I'm not surprised it's in multiple pieces to fit the flat packing and ship out easily (IE: Like IKEA does it). You only need a philips screwdriver to finish everything.I like that there's a little leather pull tab on the drawer as it allows you to pull it out when needed. I found myself using it more than I originally believed because the sliding mechanism, for a lack of a better word, kinda sucks. When I think of sliding keyboard drawers, I just think of buttery smooth ball bearings gliding back and forth. This sort of just sticks a bit, but it does function. The construction itself is stable enough. I wouldn't put a ton of weight on it, but a keyboard and mouse are plenty fine. I like that there's a cable management attachment so things don't get tangled up. That's a definite plus. The mounts are plenty fine. It seems like the right side mount isn't quite flush and I've tried to fix it a little bit. It's stable enough, so I'm not going to fuss around much longer.Overall, it serves its purpose. I'm saddened by the sliding mechanism, but everything else gets a passing grade.

I was surprised to find that this tray came in two boards. Once put together it is sturdy and works well. It holds both my keyboard & mouse with ease. The keyboard space adjusts from one to three inches in depth. Make sure to measure, as most desks with side storage are only 29”. This is 30’’ across and cannot be adjusted.

I was initially impressed with this tray. It took me about 15 minutes to assemble. The mounting process was fairly easy, even with the challenging underside of my desk. The tray is sturdy and longer than most that I've seen, which is a major plus. I can fit both my extended keyboard and my mouse, though I wish it was longer by about an inch or two for more comfort. There is a major drawback with the design of the sliding mechanism; It's attached to the two short mounts on each side of the tray, which only support 1/4 of the tray at any given time. This means that the tray doesn't have sufficient support when pushed all the way in or pulled all the way out, leading to drooping issues, and drooping issues increase the likelihood of your mouse sliding off. If you've ever seen desks with built in pull-out trays, you notice that the sliding mechanism in those extends all the way back in order to cover the entire underside of the tray, providing better stability. While the drooping would not normally be that big of an issue, this tray has absolutely no walls. Whenever you pull it out, slide it in, or accidentally bump it with the back of your chair, your mouse is guaranteed to slide off and hit the floor (and mine broke because of it). The tray also has some minor mobility issues. It's not very smooth and you have to use hands on both sides in order to move it evenly, but at least it stays in place and doesn't move back and forth.Overall, it's not the best keyboard tray in the market, however, most keyboard trays in the market have identical flaws. If you don't mind making a makeshift wall for your mouse and the harsh movement of the slider, this is an okay choice, especially if you have an extended keyboard. The vast majority of the trays that I've seen do not have nearly enough room for a numpad, which automatically gives this one a bonus. I also wish there was a way to move it up and down for better adjustment, but that's just a nitpick.

This is incredibly easy to assemble. Left side, right side, left clamp, right clamp. The important bits, like the clamping mechanism and the slide rail are already assembled for you. This is too big to be a simple keyboard tray. It has way more extra room than the mouse needs. I use this as a full-on table extension. It is made of high quality, sturdy materials, so you don't have to worry about it getting wobbly or being unable to take weight (such as your hands resting idly on top).My complaint is that there is no way to make this look good. The tray itself is fine, albeit with a seam in the middle. The clamps are unsightly, because the face has multiple empty holes and a screw. This makes it adjustable height, so the designers went with function over form. This is a good compromise, rather than trying to have it both ways. This is the price you pay for adding an aftermarket keyboard tray rather than having one built-in to your desk from the start. It's worth it. If you need it, get this one rather than anything else.

As the title says, I really wanted to love this thing. I was so looking forward to receiving it and having a new keyboard tray. When the box arrived, I quickly unpackaged it and started into the assembly process that should have been less complex than it was. The reality is that the keyboard tray comes in two parts which means you have a seam down the center. Ok fine. It doesn’t show that in any of the photos, however. In any case, after spending more time than necessary assembling it, i attached it to my desk and was immediately underwhelmed. The most disappointing part is that the slide mechanism is really a bit sticky. You have to make a concerted effort to slide the tray back and forth. So much so that I am concerned about it becoming detached from the desk. The second issue is with the thumb screws used to tighten it down to the desk. They are so long, it’s just begging to take out a kneecap as you enter and exit your desk. I will have to be very careful with that. I will continue to use it for a while to see how happy I may or may not get with it, but at first hack, I would look for a better designed product before purchasing this one.
