I'm old school and had always used an old-style crimper. Now, at home, I have to re-crimp CAT5e installed by an alcoholic electrician. These cables are in eves and dark garage areas; one end has yards of extra length and the other ends are too short, ugh. The pass-through capability of this crimping set makes it SO easy to ensure I've got the proper termination ordering after inserting them into the RJ45. I've had a couple were everything was properly ordered and tightly pinched between my thumb and forefinger yet after shoving them into the pass-through RJ45, wires were mis-ordered. It saved me a lot of time; plus, knowing I had the proper layout scheme on both ends meant if there was a fault, it would be somewhere in the cable length.I'm really glad I got this tool.

This compact and efficient Ethernet "Pass-Through" connector tool-kit from BAIDUOTOOL is complete and effective. Of course the up-to-date "pass-through" design improves user productivity. While product support is excellent, which makes learning and doing easy. The one question I had, was answered in an e-mail from Nancy within minutes of my asking.

I wanted to try Pass Through style RJ45s and found this kit with everything to start but the cable and a 9v battery. I did not even have to bring out any tool but use what came in the box. The pass through type indeed is easier, faster to make and less error prone. You can easily verify all wires are in the right channels before crimping/cutting. And this particular crimper came with extra blades in case they need replacing.I like that the included connectors have shorter wire channels, so more of the sleeve gets crimped and less of the wires need to be untwisted. I tested the kit using a short Cat 5e cable.The kit came with a simple wire tester with lights that flash in sequence when all connections are good. I already have a better tester and I just used that instead. Overall an excellent start kit and great value.

I had a few older crimping tools for Ethernet cables, but it's always stressful to get the cable line up correctly when insert them into the RJ-45. With this crimping tool and the open end RJ-45, I don't have to worry about measuring them correctly and cut them nice. I only need to make sure the cables are going through the correct order and then snap it. It's nicely cut the cable as you snap the RJ-45 pins to the cable.

Easy to use the crimping tool that did a good job crimping those tiny wires. An excellent bargain considering the accessories included.
