Made from lead-free DZR brass, this brass crimp male adapter is corrosion free and is perfect for making a transition between a PEX pipe and female NPT threaded connection using copper crimp rings or stainless steel clamps. These crimp male couplers are compatible with PEX and PE-RT pipes. SharkBite brass fittings feature a minimum working temperature of 33 degrees F at 160 PSI and a maximum working temperature of 200 degrees F at 80 PSI. These crimp male connectors are certified for use in potable water and hydronic heating system applications.

The PEX/Barb Connection System includes fittings, manifolds, valves, clamp rings, crimp rings and tools. Can be used with either SharkBite Clamp Rings or SharkBite Crimp Rings.

This fitting does not fit the 1" orange Ipex pipe I need this for. This fitting calls out to be a 1" x 1" Adapter, but doesn't fit my orange Ipex pipe. I don't know, is there a difference in Ipex vs Pex pipe?
