Got this along with a few other styles as an alternative to the vets plastic ones, for after a Nueter. Of all the versions of the “Elizabethan” cone-head collars to prevent chewing and licking, this was the only one that stayed on. Made the cat walk backwards at times I guess bc of his field of vision, and had to fold it back so the baby could eat. But this stayed and and wasn’t difficult to work with. Was glad we had it and sure it’ll get used again if any stay little enough.

Very cute but he got out of it day one ! Very hard for him to eat . I think it runs small in the neck . My kitten is very slim .

My kitty wasn't the most fond of it but it worked! It kept her from accessing a cut while it healed. 10/10!

My cat kept scratching her ears raw even after using drops. I bought this collar to keep her from scratching her ears, which it did. It is a little on the bulky side and that annoyed my cat. Overall, it worked and her ears healed.

The collar is lightweight and soft, with a flexible design that doesn't feel too stiff or uncomfortable around his neck. It has adjustable straps, so I was able to find the perfect fit for my cat. He was able to move around easily without feeling restricted, which is a huge plus. This cat cone collar is a great choice for post-surgery recovery or preventing your cat from licking or scratching at wounds. It’s comfortable, well-made, and does the job without being too overwhelming for my cat. Highly recommend! HOWEVER- The shipping on this took FOREVER - otherwise I would give five stars.

I recently got the Soft Cat Cone Collar in the Small size for my cat after her spay surgery, hoping it would provide a comfortable, effective alternative to the traditional hard plastic cones. While the soft, flexible fabric and adjustable strap are excellent features, I found that the small size is actually too small even for my relatively small adult cat and is more suited for a kitten.The collar itself is made from a soft, plush material, which is a big plus compared to the usual stiff plastic cones. It’s lightweight and doesn’t make my cat feel as claustrophobic or uncomfortable. The adjustable strap makes it easy to secure and ensure the collar stays in place, and the design is much more comfortable for my cat to wear for extended periods.However, despite these positive features, the size small collar was still too tight around the neck and didn’t cover enough of my cat's head and chest area to effectively prevent her from licking her surgical site. The collar is better suited for a kitten or an extremely petite adult cat. For my cat, even with the adjustable strap, the collar didn’t fit as comfortably as I had hoped, and it didn’t provide the necessary protection from licking or scratching the wound.Pros:Soft, plush material is much more comfortable than traditional plastic conesAdjustable strap ensures a secure fitLightweight and flexible design provides less stress and discomfortPrevents licking and scratching effectively, if it fits properlyCons:Size small is too small for most adult cats, better suited for kittens or very petite catsMay not cover enough of the head and chest area for larger catsTight fit even when adjusted, making it uncomfortable for some catsOverall, I think the Soft Cat Cone Collar would be a great option for kittens or very small cats, but the small size was just too tight for my adult cat. So I absolutely loved the look of this collar - it's so cute! I got it for my 7 month old kitty when we had him neutered and it worked great BUT I had to "customize" it a bit. When I initially put it on him he was able to get it off even though it was on the tightest adjustment (which I wouldn't have wanted to be any tighter) and the drawstring tightened. Generally an e-collar is designed so you attach the animal's collar to it and then put it on your pet. With this collar there was no way to attach the collar. So I used a scissors to remove the stitching on both ends of stretchy part of this cone, inserted my cat's collar and then put the cone on my cat - it worked perfectly then and he couldn't get it off. My cat healed great within a week of the surgery and the cone held up great as well. With a few tweaks this collar would be great.
