OVERALL: Install isn't too complicated if you have basic DIY skills and tools. This kit is much much cheaper than similar kits from the big brands, and it is working great so far.GOOD: It works very well. The motorized arms are very strong, and the included mounting hardware is thick and sturdy. The remotes are pre-programmed.It comes already configured for an optional electric gate lock - just attach the two wires.BAD: The included instruction manual is not easy to understand. Many features are not explained very well.The mounting brackets are intended for round poles (not flat/square posts), and do not match the manual.The included hardware is not stainless steel or even galvanized. It's just basic zinc-coated steel that will start rusting in a matter of months. I painted the mounting brackets with a "cold galvanizing" paint, and replaced all the nuts, bolts, screws, and washers with new stainless-steel hardware for a longer life.

opened the control box, and for final assembly, they need to check the torque on screwdrivers nearly stripped the head on a couple trying to find what was loose inside. Found a gland nut off, and a loose screw that held down the control boardwill comment when I get it installed on the gate.

After installing the gate opener, the closing force was too strong. While adjusting the closing force knob a quarter turn each with a pocket screwdriver the adjustment knob fell off the panel board.I have worked in the IT field for many years and have adjusted far too many pots to mention, but have never seen an adjustment screw simply fall off the panel. This is obviously a manufacturing defect. I am working with the proper parties for a replacement or return of funds.

Ordered this to replace a 3 and a half year old cheaper Aleco opener. This guy doesn’t have the prone-to-failure limit switches and instead will auto learn the open close start stop points. A+ for that feature. Remotes have good range and it’s quiet. 10/10 would buy again thanks to easy wiring and good directions. The arm was shorter by a few inches compared to the last opener so I did have to weld a new bracket on the gate.

Excelente compra cuenta con los herrajes necesarios para la instalación, los pistones solo requieren ser energizados, el controlador es muy sencillo de conectar tanto si es básica la instalación como si compras accesorios adicionales. No trae ningún tornillo para fijar los herrajes al muro o puerta ni cableado eléctrico de acometida o para conectar los pistones. Llevo 1 mes de uso y estoy muy contento. El manual de instalación es muy escueto pero entendible si tienes algún conocimiento eléctrico (creo que debería mejorar para las personas que no tienen ningún conocimiento basico).

We installed it on our cattle gate for feeding. Instead of leaving the gate open, we leave the remote in the tractor cab and can open it and close it without climbing in and out of the tractor. It installed easily as well , which was a bonus.

This single arm swing gate opener is a beautifully made and very durable piece of equipment. It was a bit interesting trying to decipher the instructions on how to put it together but after a while I was able to get it assembled and installed correctly. It could use a bit of work on its instructions as it does give instructions for accessories, a bunch of accessories that are not included with it. The arm is very durable and has a good amount of weight to it. I put this on our 400 pound driveway gate that is 8 feet long and has a stability will. And it does say that it would work with this pretty decently but I didn’t want to put too much weight on it so I’m glad I have the tire on it. Overall this is a very durable he made piece of equipment and a good value for money and easy to set up.

This gate opener installed with no issues or drama.I had a gate opener that was stripped out and I was able to purchase this one and install it cheaper than repairing my old one.Opener moves smoothly and has been working without issue for a month now.I would buy again.5 STARS
