È magnifico, Da ombreggiature ed evidenzia i dettagli davvero bene l'unico difetto è il brutto odore basta farlo in un posto ventilato o fuori come ho fatto.

Excellent dark tone wash for your miniatures. Idea for refiling your Army Painter small bottles or you can dip your figure into the pot. This pot works out cheaper overall then buying the small bottles.

Product works great but I ordered soft tone and received strong tone which impacted my end results

Ottimo prodotto, ma lo STRONG è davvero troppo scuro, molto più scuro che nelle foto. Consiglio la gradazione più chiara se si vuole avere l'effetto di QUESTE foto prodotto.

My first career of 25 years was in the auto collision repair sector, working with lacquers, enamels, urethanes, both solvent and water-borne; along the way I did many custom cars, motorcycles, guitars, helmets, (and some furniture). I’ve been an avid painter of miniatures off and on since I was a teen, and I’m happy to now have kids old enough to paint with me.The Army Painter washes that come in their paint sets are absolutely brilliant. I was so very excited to use this product to finish out the hordes that my kids are working on, but ran smack into the reality that this stuff is horrible.Horrible.First, I can’t for the life of me understand why *anybody* would be making oil-based *anything* these days, when they have an awesome water-based option. It stinks terribly and requires terps to clean up (more stink, especially indoors). Let alone the health hazards of breathing the solvent vapors.WHY?!!And it’s not even like the performance is worth the hassle of dealing with the oil-based nonsense. IT DOES NOT WORK AS A DIP. AT ALL. This was the main selling feature of it: dip, shake, dry, done. It’s Waaaayyyy to thick to dip. It doesn’t flow into the cracks and crevices like a wash should; it just hangs out wherever it wants on big globs of snot. Thinning it out per the label directions made it thinner, but still unusable and still unable to seep into the low areas to highlight the detail.$30+ for a can of false promises, and another $10 for a quart of thinner that I’m never going to use for anything else. What’s worse, now I have to pay to dispose of it.Terrible.Zero stars.

I’m slightly new to painting miniatures and I’ve been exploring with different materials and mediums. I decided to give the dip method a try. I noticed that it can give a bit of a grimdark feel to my minis and it creates an strong protective coat over my finished mini’s. I would tell someone who is new to the hobby, to research and watch a few tutorials from different content creators first. There are a few different methods that can be used to apply this varnish. The varnish achieves a few different things which attracted me to the product. I’ll list out the pros and cons:Pros:It gives an excellent form of recess shading. It’s highly effective for batch painting. It makes a thick and very durable varnish - superior for anyone that is using figures for table top gaming purposes.Cons:There’s a learning curb to the application if you want to achieve a good look on your mini’sIt can get very messy in all methods of application.Cleaning brushes or hands after usage requires white spirits or a thinner.Cheers!

Honestly, I don't think I have been more disappointed in anything I have bought off Amazon. I followed all of the instructions on the can. First the wash smells horrible, it's incredibly thick even when you mix it a tonne. If you dip a mini in it, it will make the whole thing solid brown and it will stay that way even after shaking. I hadto take a brush to try to remove the wash from the mini. Not only did it stain and ruin the brush, it also entirely stained my hands. I have used 5 different soaps now and nothing takes off the sticky brown film. Just buy the small washes this will cause nothing but headaches and potentially ruin the paint job you just spent hours doing. 0/10 dont buy it.

Deja un pésimo acabado. Demasiado espeso y tarda demasiado en quitar. Es difícil en extremo remover el exceso. Sumergir tus miniaturas en Miel de Maple daría el mismo resultado

Works well. Still trying to figure out how to use it best. Sometimes feels like it leaves too much grime due to not being able to brush off the excess quick enough. Would recommend using a brighter shade of colors because of how much this knocks down the brightness. Smells, so wear protection even in a well vented area. Found it took roughly 48 hours for figs to not feel tacky. Leaves a high gloss afterwards. Use a white spirit turpentine solution to clean your brushes afterwards. Dispose of the used white spirit responsibly at a certified chemical disposal facility.

Awesome stuff (I got the Strong Shade). I brush it on and let it cure for almost 24 hours. Stuff makes doing large projects (Like Zombicide Black Plague) a LOT easier and less burdensome. Adds a dirty/muddy quality to the mini as well as shading it entirely. Adds a glossy finish to anything though so remember you'll need a good Matte varnish (Testors is what I use) to take the sheen away

Bought this to save time painting. Definitely saved time painting, so 5 stars there. Took my characters from bright, fake colors to grim, shaded colors in a very effective manner. I would still take the time to make the figure look relatively good underneath, but let quick shade do the shadows for you.I call out that I went with bright colors because at first I painted normally and added the quick shade. The end result looked like a post-apocalypse, grimy dirty character. This "travel-worn" effect can be avoided if you go with bright colors underneath. This particular shade adds a noticeable sepia effect overall, which can look great, but if the mini underneath already has the browns and tones it usually needs then the overcoat looks like dirt.-I would not recommend dipping. Just brush this on. Gives a lot more control.-They say shake well, they MEAN shake well. If you are going to be dipping in it for more than 5-10 minutes, plan on taking a moment to recap this and shake again. Otherwise you are just painting with oil.-Use a brush you don't plan to use for much else or have cleaner immediately handy. Leaves a sticky, oily residue. Won't wash out with just water.-The end result will be glossy. Get a matte finish to remove the shine.-If you want excellent results, paint on top of the dried quickshade to create highlights. I do not care about this (I'm painting 100 zombies) so I do the highlights underneath or not much at all. Works fine for me.-I do not know if you can water this down but I would suggest just starting small and building up. Do a test mini or two and see how the results look.
